I am ok with it other than #2a. I think we can get Olsen from the Bears for 2a and #119 and they give us back a third and Olsen. Untested injured rookie versus a proven NFL young decent contract 70 reception TE...No brainer.
So a second and very late fourth get us a third that BB wants and a starting TE.
Where do I sign?

Love it. Kindle AND Hughes seems unlikely, but I love it.
That explains alot.
It's unfortunate that prior threads can't be required teaching tools.
Yeah....in your haste to get an unneccesary dig in, it's unfortunate that you couldn't be bothered to read my third post in the thread....you know, the part where I said Kindle wasn't on my board, but I thought it was a good draft in spite of that?
Nobody, but nobody can cherry-pick like you. I guess some people are just a@@holes.
Actually, I did see it. I also knew you would respond.
You "loved it" with a first round bust!!!
Makes complete and perfect sense.
Yes, in February 2011, we know that Kindle fell down the stairs and didn't play a down due to a serious head injury. I suppose that you knew in April 2010 that he would be a first round bust. Regretfully, I lack your powers of prescience.
I wasn't high on Kindle last year. I was high on Gronkowski, Hughes, Lissemore, Price, Moats, and Deaderick and would have been happy with that draft haul, even if it included Kindle.
Unlike some posters here, I do acknowledge the possibility that what my non-professional scouting eyes tell me about a player isn't necessarily so, and that a very athletic player I see as a bad fit might have the light bulb turned on and turn out to be a good player with hard work and good coaching. If Belichick drafted Kindle in the first round, I would assume that he would have done his due diligence in scouting, and felt confident that he would be a productive player. It addressed a position of need, and thus would have been a good draft in my opinion.
Of course, you knew he would be a bust, though, and Belichick would have knowingly drafted a first-round bust. Hats off to you.
Did I "know" Kindle would be a bust? No, I can't tell the future.
I do know a one dimensional pass rush specialist is overrated.
I do know when a "pass rush specialist" is touted as the answer to the situation, stay away. What's up with Hughes?
This is the same type of logic that says don't use the worst pass defense in the NFL as a guide to a better pass defense.

The same applies to pretty much every NFL team.
Seriously? Our draft was about 100x better than this mock. Hughes? Kindle??
The Patriots would have been markedly worse had they gone this mock's route.
I give the mocker credit for successfully getting 3 correct picks to the Pats.
Figured I'd bump this . . . ironic how much WIN and FAIL this turned out to be.
In hindsight, obviously. BB nailed the draft last year. It's hard to imagine a group contributing more than McCourty, Gronkowski, Spikes, Cunningham, Deaderick, and Hernandez this year. It's probably closer to 1000x better than this one.
That being said, nobody knows what kind of player Kindle is going to be.
Pretty much everybody knew that Hughes chance of success was as a 3-4 OLB. Polian punted that pick.
