Maroney arrested

Hate stories like this, law enforcement tips off the media that they arrested somebody famous, why else would they notice 4 young men 'held' on gun and drug offenses.

I'm not jumping to any conclusion unless he is charged with something, likely all 4 are being held in the hope that somebody rolls over.

He should have been arrested 5 years ago for trying to impersonate a 1st round professional running back :bricks:

Any truth to the rumor when he tried to run away, he ran into wall?

What could have been with this guy! All the talent in the world, with a pee-sized brain and the work ethic of a dead frog. Such an azzhole. I'd say I was shocked about this if I was....obvioulsy I am not. What really upsets me is that the Pats wasted so much time on this idiot.

Was the gun made of glass?

I am surprised.

I don't know what went wrong, exactly, but clearly something did; after all, it's not like he was a complete bust from day one (remember his game against the Bengals?).

To think of the RBs we would have drafted if Maroney wasn't on the team.

By all accounts, Maroney dedicated a good amount of time to watching film with Belichick last season. From what's been reported, he had good work ethic. Considering this, he might have a brain the size of what you speculated though.

Here is his mug shot. Nice hair Dorothy. How the Pats goofed on this first round pick is a complete mystery to me....

Re: Laurence Maroney - Wow.

So I missed the thread... should've known that it was already out there but I've been away for about 1 week and 1 day and I don't check the other "areas" of this board.

Thanks for being cool about it though.

Mods please delete.

Re: Laurence Maroney - Wow.

He looks like an extra from the movie Stargate.

Re: Laurence Maroney - Wow.

Seriously, Maroney should cut his hair short and try a new look because he's not getting too far with that look.

Not saying that didn't happen but it is not really needed.

Almost every newspaper has someone who checks all the police reports daily. When one of the name on the police report has Laurence Maroney with an employer of the Denver Broncos the beat reporter gets his story for the day.
