Tom Brady Will Pass Joe Montana in Playoff Record Book With Win Against Jets - New England Patriots - NESN.com

Jeff Howe is slowly becoming one of my favourite beat writers.

With a win Sunday against the Jets, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will set another impressive record.

It would mark his 15th career playoff victory, which would be the most for any quarterback with one team in NFL history. Brady (14-4 postseason record) entered Sunday tied with Joe Montana (14-5 with the 49ers), Terry Bradshaw (14-5 with the Steelers) and John Elway (14-8 with the Broncos). Montana, Bradshaw and Elway are all first-ballot Hall of Famers.

Ooh nice find! Yet another reason to take no prisoners today!!

I really need this game to start .... NOW.

This is truly amazing. I cannot believe what a great story this guy has become. Cannot wait to tell my children and grandchildren that I watched one of the greatest ever.

Been a Jet fan since 73 ... I think Brady is the best to ever play the position ... its one of the reasons I truly do not think BB is the best coach ever ... I feel that without Brady he would still be a good coach ... just not considered one of ... or ... THE .. best in history. All you have to do is look at BB record before Brady came along.

How many of the coaches considered great (e.g., Lombardi, Noll, etc.) had c*** at quarterback?

IDK, but Gibbs won it with 3 different QB's. He was great, but look when he returned, he was awful. All coaches need good players, not just QB's, to be considered great. Or else they are going to be the Larry Brown (NBA Coach) of the NFL.

i think knoll is remembered more for his defense than for T Bradshaw.

Ditka ... bears.

there has to be more ...
