Melt downs on Jets Boards

I saw that image last night live and had this wonderful sense of contentment fill me. Karma.

I'm not one to take joy at the misfortune of others, normally. It's not a Christian thing to do. However, I'm not a Christian, and in the case of these pride-filled and mouthy Jets fans, I', happy to make an exception.

Each thread I read over there is funnier than the last. It's quite funny how they are already giving up on their season and how they want Sanchez gone after practically already enshrining the guy in the HOF.

Looking at that picture actually makes me feel kinda bad for the guy. Having lived through Red Sox disasters from 1967-2004, I feel his pain. I don't necessarily want his pain to end, I just can't celebrate it.

Cue other posters calling me a "Tony Eason".

Congratulations!

But you will have to login from another computer because they ban you by IP address, not e-mail. Worth it tho!

That's right, nice, I have two other computers to choose from

Who cares about the meltdown on the Jets' boards when you can enjoy the meltdowns in the Jets' lockerroom:

Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis couldn't believe his ears after the game.

Granted, the Jets lost to the Dolphins 10-6 and all losses are team losses, blah, blah, blah. But the Jets' defense held the Dolphins to 131 yards of total offense, a total of six first downs (one in the second half) and just five completions. The defense produced five sacks and three fumble recoveries.

But . . .

"According to Rex we played [bleepy]," Ellis told The Post of Rex Ryan's words to the defense after the game. "He said we weren't good enough. I guess we needed a shutout. I guess that's what he was talking about."

The criticism did not sit well with the defensive players, likely explaining why most of them bolted from the locker room before reporters were allowed in. Linebacker Bart Scott, the so-called leader of the group, had someone bring him his clothes from his locker.
"It's frustrating to hear that because we played a solid game," Ellis said. "I guess he just expects so much out of the defense that there should have been zero points on the board, not 10."

Jabba could be losing the team, at lest the Defense.

I guess knowing that every player in the league would just love to play for him makes it easier for Rex to dump on the ones he has ...

You heard it here 1st, the Jets miss the playoffs this year and fire Rex Ryan soon after the regular season is over and hire Josh McDaniels as their NEW head coach. Remember you heard it hear 1st.

I found this on the Jets forums Haha!

Rex coddles Sanchez and blasts Defense - Jets Insider.com Forums

"There's a mutiny abrewing in the Jets locker room. Wonder if Rex takes the Defense out to lunch this week. Thought I read that Rex was wiping the applesauce off Markie's bubblin lips at their last feeding

It gets better. The schadenfreude, it's so...delicious.

I spent the better part of last week on the gang green forum, just laughing... (except for the threads complaining about running up the score and how they wish someone would intentionally hurt Brady...)
Really, a total Jets meltdown could not happen to a nicer group of fans.

pretty funny.
there was anotuher pic that someone had posted that showed a new mound of dirt about three stories high behind the practice field, questioning whether it was in accordance with local zoning laws....LMAO:rocker:
