Weekly Marshall Faulk Bashing Thread

re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

Mr. Faulk is Kevin

Marshall Faulk is someone else.

Funny - -when I saw the thread title my first thought was that Kevin Faulk was on the sidelines baiting the Jets, or in the owner's booth blowing air over Trumps hair.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

Hey, Abdul. Hope you don't mind, but I edited the thread title so that no one confuses about whom you are referencing there.

I admit to initially thinking you were talking about Kevin Faulk when I saw the title.

Regarding Marshall Faulk - - he simply hates the Patriots with every fiber of his being. You are spot on, my friend, when you see him being a very biased commentator. If the NFL Network had a shred of integrity, they would fire him immediately. But all they care about is controversy and ratings. It is what it is.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

BTW, I can't wait to see him eat his words next time he's on.

(Probably won't, however, because the network won't ask him to address it).

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

Thanks for that name clarification. Good thread. I was so sick of his hating ass it wasnt funny. Every time he was asked he cudda swore the Jets were going to knock us out. I thought the same thing, still bitter about that Superbowl.

I've been watching NFL network waiting to see him and his response. I also want to see Deion Sander's response too because he wouldn't stop saying that the Jets are the best team and how they will prove it Monday night.

The best thing Faulk said was about Jabba helping Gholston improve!

Gholston has 16 solo tackles and 0 sacks in the 26 games he has played under him!

I am sure even Rex knows that he can't improve VG!

So Faulk, think about what you are saying you douche!

I remember him saying that. The statement was so ludicrous it was almost surreal. I wonder if they even believe the stuff they are saying.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

I don't hate Tom Jackson, sometimes I like to hear him, the only knock on him is the confessed Manning love he has, I'm tired of hearing him say "number 18 this, number 18 that"...

Most of those goofballs are pure entertainment. One thing that irritates me about Jackson is when he's trying to make a point or wants to interrupt, he stutters. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against people that stutter but he seems to do it intentionally.

a a a a a a and when Peyton Manning blahblahblah.....

Anyone else notice this?

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

He is definitely anti Patriots. However, I could have sworn that he picked the Pats to win on Monday.

Sanders actually picked the Jets "in a rout" and said the Patriots would miss Moss.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

When is he going to get over that SB loss and get on with his life ?

Twelfth of never?

Why Tom Jackson has a professional broadcasting job is one of the unknown mysteries of the universe.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

How about we start a thread about people who love the Pats:

Keyshawn Johnson obviously loves the Pats, picks em to win almost every time. I think Phil Simms is a fan. It seems Trent Dilfer is a believer. Anyone I'm missing ?

I think Eisen is a big Brady fan, but I don't know about him being a Pats fan.

Nah, he'll be on the next game, with commentary about how Mike Martz has figured out BB and that the Pats aren't that good and won't beat Chicago.

This.

I will also be watching nfl total access in anticipation waiting for either michael Irvin or marshall fcuked to share their enlightened viewpoints regarding that "prestigous beatdown"(as my dad would say).

I have my doubts that he will even address it as well. But it would be fun to see him eat that crow.

I don't care if someone doesn't like the Pats. Why should we want fans commenting on TV? We can get that here.

But if they are on a national network, at least make cogent points why - - not some irrational stuff that they can't back up and won't man-up about when proven completely wrong.

THAT is the issue.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

The Patriots could win the next 5 SB's and Faulk will still be here in 2016 picking against us in every reasonable game.

I don't care if he picks against us and have no problem him displaying his hatred for us now and then.

What makes it aggravating is the fact that he lets the hate prevent him for doing what he's paid to do - be a football commentator - when it comes to commenting about the Pats.

The moronic and ridiculous reasons he struts out to support his persistent negative comments against BB and the players tempts me to throw my remote every time he opens his mouth.

When blind hatred prevents you from being objective in a national TV, you should realize that the channel is keeping you more as an entertainer and not an expert on the field. Glad that he doesn't have the brians to realize that and pity that I don't get entertained by his antics.

yeah but there were times when he said they are the best team yadda yadda yadda. He said they will come to our houes and beat us because of their hard defense and whatever.....

Right on....MF is a M....F'er. It's disappointing that there isn't a mgmt type w/the clout to reign in some of these guys. Woodson is another one. Although not nearly as bad as Faulk, the guy is a hater as well. I remember last season or perhaps the year before when they were doing a season preview for each division and they completely skipped the Patriots. One of the guys caught the oversight and Woodson responded "agghh...I don't want to talk about the Patriots". He also seems to enjoy diminishing Brady whenever he can.

Don't know if he's a Pats fan but Eisen went to Michigan so that's probably why he likes Brady.
