Jets Fan Coming To Foxborough - Advice?

Actually, I'm bringing my sister (it was her birthday last week)

Don't worry. We don't have a Gate 4 at Gillette where, as with Green Beans fans, women are required to flash to gain entry.

It's easy, just do the following and you'll have a wonderful time:
1. Wear a Bruschi jersey.
2. Scream loudly when the Jets are on offense.
3. Talk about how much you hate the Jets.
4. Sit respectfully when the Patriots are on offense.

It's that simple!

You want some advice? Stay home. :D

Question - would it make more sense for me to leave the stadium on Rt 1 north, cut down North Street to Beach and Mechanic to 95 south? Or are there 1,000 fans with the same genius idea and it won't save any time compared to the trip down Rt 1 south to 495?

Driving directions just for a Jets fan.....

here

Fans, especially drunk fans, are the same everywhere. Be prepared for one of the worst parking situations in the NFL. My brother refers to the walk from the off site parking lots as the "Bataan Death March"!

I have attended Patriot games and the fans have always been civil. I think it will be hard for them this Monday but I trust that they will take the defeat like men and women.

(*mentally prepares for barrage of insults/trash talk* :D )

Hey guys. I just won a pair of tickets to the game Monday Night, and I have two questions.

1) How do you guys treat opposing fans at the stadium? I'm not talking about trash-talking schmucks - just people who show up and root for the opponent (cheer the good plays, etc.).

2) I'm driving up from NY, then driving back after the game. What's the parking situation like, and where should I plan to park if I want to get out as quickly as possible?

The Pats' fans are relatively tame compared to most when it comes to harrassment, but you might get some verbal barrages if you wear Jets gear. But I think you will be safer than a Pats fan would if he/she went to the Meadowlands for a Pats/Jets game.

As for getting out as quick as possible, good luck. I would recommend you park in one of the private lots on the 495 side of the stadium probably a half mile to mile away from the stadium that is on the opposite side of the stadium. You will have a walk ahead of you, but it is easier to get out and on the highway once you get in your car. You can shave a half an hour to an hour of waiting to get out depending on where you park.

It is easier to go to 495 on RTe 1. Also, park in a private lot on that side and you will cut down on your time exponentially. Most fans come from areas north of Foxboro and most of the traffic on Rte 1 goes towards 95 after the game.

Or leave early bc I know a Jets fan doesnt want to walk out with all these Patriots fan celebrating after a Patriots victory :rocker:

Have you watched the Jets games the past few weeks? Any fan who hasn't learned to stay til the end after those games . . .

Alright in Mass the state law is to drive on the left side of the road as fast as you can. After you make it to the stadium the law is to start a fight with the biggest dude you can find who has the most friends. Once your in the stadium, avoid the top of the stadium or edges. You might get thrown off.

Make sure your probation officer knows you're leaving the state. I've never met a Jets' fan who wasn't a convicted felon and I have to assume that you are as well.
 And he needs to make sure he registers as a sex offender with the Foxboro police for that kiddy porn beef you caught a while back.

If it was the old days in the old stadium you'd prolly have to wear body armor and a helmet, but you should have no problem now. Remember if someone throws something its all in good fun, don't take it personally. :D
