The prospect of Manning versus our porous third down defense scares the crap out of me. Colts are not to be underestimated.

I hear you but think this time around, it might be different IMO.

That said, I agree - Colts are not to be underestimated.

Let us not get ahead of ourselves. I am happy with the win but we need to see a little more consistency from our team. If we stinks next week, this board wouldn't look as happy. Let's remain humble.
Any given Sunday.

I wouldn't mind a little New England weather. I would love to see the dolts play in some foul weather.
I was hoping for the same but the forecast calls for mid 40's and sunny skies. BOOOOOOO! where is the snow and the howling winds

I really dont rate the Colts Defense, so i think we can carve them up if people dont drop passes and they play hard. Our OLine has been strong this season and its all about or WR getting open because Brady is having the time to deliver if they are.

I sincerely hope we have Taylor back for this game. Eventhough the Colts are beat all to hell, I'm wary of them. I hope Belichick and Brady can keep the younguns focused so this doesn't turn into Cleveland 2.0.

I don't think the Colts defense have played Brady tougher than the Steelers defense. I think last night's game is clouding things up.

The Patriots have lost to Indy in absolute shootouts. The Brady Pitt games were tight other than the '04 championship game and last night. The Patriots D plays Pittsburgh better than it plays against Indy's O (at least in recent Indy games) and that's always been the difference. Brady has always had his way with indy's defense but you can't say that about Pitt.

Look up the stats against both and get back to me. you may be surprised with what you find. FYI, the Pats soundly whipped the Steelers in 2002 and 2007 as well.

Edit: Pats w/ Brady avged 31.1 ppg against Steelers since 2002 with Brady. Over the same time frame, they have avged 26.8 ppg against the Colts with Brady. Furthermore, a lot of the damage was done on the ground against the Colts, while the Pats have relied almost exclusively on Brady in the Steeler games. So, really, history disagrees with your contention.

Manning is fine but he's got no one to throw to. The Colts are a complete mess and Manning is having the worst set of games of his professional life without Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai, Austin Collie and Anthony Gonzalez - all out. Manning had no TDs, 185 yards against the dreadful Bungles yesterday. The Colts won because the Bungles had 5 turnovers - three interceptions by Carson Palmer.

If the Pats keep their wits about them and don't turn the ball over like they did against Cleveland, they'll be fine.

Whatever Bellichick did last week to kick their asses and keep them from being complacent he should do it again. The D can have a great night against an off-the street running back in for Addai and the spare parts Manning has at receiver.

A home game will be also be a good thing after the last two weeks - I hope the crowd is pumped up.
