On one hand you would think Dukes, as an undrafted free agent, would have a greater appreciation for role players rather than being dazzled by stars when he assesses teams.
On the other hand he spent eight of his ten seasons in the NFL on teams that had losing records. He's more of an expert witness for bad teams and their problems than an authority on quality programs and what it takes to win in the NFL. If the NFLN wanted to make good use of his background then they'd limit him to talking about teams like the Bills, Lions and Bengals while keeping him off camera when the discussion involves any playoff contenders.
