You can see it as Favre's head whips forward and his chin smacks the helmet. Favre being too cool to wear the shock absorbing chin strap took his lumps.

Hmm ... I keep watching this replay and while the angle isn't perfect, I still only see Pryor's helmet drive into Favre's right shoulder just under Favre's shoulder assembly. The assembly then rides up on Farve likely causing the cut he had to get stitched up.

The laceration is really the main evidence. You don't get a deep cut from hitting the blunt side of a helmet.

40 second mark, as Pryor hits Favre, Favre's head snaps forward and his chin impacts the top of Pryor's helmet. It's a classic whiplash head snap, Favre reacts just like a crash test dummy, which tells us fun things about the human anatomy. The entire hit, whiplash, and landing takes place in less than a second, which shows you how fast they are playing out there. You'll note from Favre's press conference that the laceration is on the right hand side of his chin, which is the side where Pryor's helmet is planted into Favre's shoulder pads.

Until Pryor gets through the entire week without a FEDEX letter from the League I'll be concerned the clowns running the show will overreact.

And Rob, Pryor's helmet contacted Favre's head, doesn't matter how it happened, the clown show in NYC can and have fined players just for that.

And we KNOW that the New York guys are in a pissed off mood because their favorite NY Jets were shut out yesterday, a loss that dropped them from the 1st place that is pre ordained as rightfully theirs in the division.
