Our team is 6-1.I think we are 6-1 on moxy.We have a QB who knows how to win games. They are still question marks with our defense. They hardly get pressure and give up huge chunks of yards. The last two teams havent maded us pay.The game against the steelers on the road will tell us more about our team.

I think we are 6-1 because we are the best coached team in the league.

I almost feel bad for the Vikings.
Almost.

I agree with the other posts on here. Why would a team claim him if he doesn't want to play there? They just saw what happened to the vikings. The same thing would happen to them.

That is my understanding of the waiver process. It's a 24 hours period. Starting at 4 PM the day the player is waived and ending at 4 PM the following day.

It sounds to me as though the period for making a claim starts not the day the player is waived, necessarily, but the date the waiver is communicated to the clubs by the league, which I think may not necessarily be the same day. In other words, using the antiquated parlance, the date the player is actually put on the "wire," which is probably now all done by e-mail or electronically.

This is all based on internet research, though, and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn express last night.

Block the Pats from claiming him back. Miami/Jets definite possibilities

Well, here's a question.....

Who loses snaps if Moss comes back? Would it be Branch or Tate?

Can't it be both? I envision a more even distribution of snaps, rather than somebody being relegated to a true "backup" (#4 WR) role.

I think, more than the oft-cited "stretching" of the field, Randy's real value at this stage would manifest in the red zone.

Everything I have heard the waiver period ends 4pm tomorrow. He either becomes a member of a team a UFA.

Let them. The Jets have done fine against us WITH Moss and the Miami game was a blowout with or without Moss. If they want to be a part of the soap opera voluntarily, let them.

Damn, anyone hear Tedy go off of Childress and the Vikings.

I don't know who is the person tweeting over a NESN, but seriously? How can you tweet this: " Did Vikings cut Randy Moss Because He Got Favre Injured? "

HUH? What did Randy have to do with Brett taking one in the chest from Myron Pryor?

Moss didn't try to catch the ball after the interference call. If he had caught it, TD. He didn't, then Favre got creamed right after, I think

crazy logic though

Where DOES Randy Moss end up for rest of season?

Know there's already a thread on the release, and a thread on if he comes back to us, but what about if he doesn't/someone else claims him on waivers? Perhaps deserves its own thread on where he DOES end up...

I would love to see him back if he can clear waivers but I doubt that will happen.

Personally my bets are on Miami or San Diego. You guys?

Percy Harvin said:
"In the second half they made a couple of adjustments, and I think we played into their hands," he said. "They were ready for a couple of our plays there in the second half. We didn't do a good job of making adjustments. That's why [Patriots coach Bill] Belichick is as good as he is. He makes those adjustments. They were able to pull it out."

Childress' days are numbered, I suspect.

Too bad Harvin got back on the Vikings plane. Him staying with Moss would have ramped the comedy level to incredible heights.

I can see Miami and the Jets trying to block us, but would they really want to spend 3.4 mil for a head case who is going to poison your team?

Everybody saw he press conference yesterday, and he was basically whining "I want to come back, take me back please," and I am sure 31 other teams saw this and what is to stop him from pulling the same stuff? If I am competing with the Pats, as tempted as it would be to block them, if I have a good thing going, I am not spending the 3.4 million and the roster spot for a guy who could quit on me.

Ive read that Moss can straight out refuse if he doesn't like the team that claims him. So he could say no to all 31 teams and drop to NE

Being #32, we wouldn't put a claim in, we will let him become free the re-sign for less than the 3.4 million.

Randy Moss May Have Just Lost His JOB...

...But he has just WON...his Immortality.

New England will ~ now and forever more ~ be his HOME.

He has EARNED that, by God.
