Vikes pumping Moss for Patriots intel

I don't think a WR whose job here was mainly to go deep every play on the field is really going to help Brad with the Pats offensive schemes and certainly Moss will be of little use with our defensive secrets.

Belichick is most certainly going to do things on both sides of the ball to offset anything Randy has to say anyway.

it's worthless for Childress to act like a detective in an interrogation room trying to get a suspect to admit he did it,I could see this dirtbag trying for every little edge he could get from Randy against a coach Childress obviously dislikes.

I agree........ Appearances are deceiving....... he does have to look like he is doing work.

#1) So what? Isn't that what anyone of us would expect BB to do if we had a recent Viking on our team?

#2) The weird part is that Childress (Dear Lord, this guy has an historic case of verbal diarhea) volunteered it to the press, felt it necessary to make special mention of it today and even crowed that Moss was "eloquent" in his dissertation of the Pats playbook. This is exactly how he dished about the Garret Mills and Percy Harvin situations - - this guy went to the Ashton Kutcher School of Social Tweeting. Childress seems almost Peter Sellers/Inspector Clouseau-like. I think we are witnessing a gradual nervous breakdown in technicolor.

Wait, you don't think Moss knows the Patriots scheme IN DEPTH? ahahaha talk about delusional. Yeah Moss did nothing but run straight and is dumb as rocks.

The thing is Childress is too stupid to use any intel to his advantage. He's the type of guy that BB will know EXACTLY what he is going to do... and then he'll say we stole signals.

That is just plain wishful thinking on your part. How many times over the last 3+ years did did you have to hear how smart a WR Randy Moss was from BB and Brady. Not just a smart WR, but "the smartest" WR.

He knows the Pats offense from pillar to post, and of course he's going to give was he knows about the Pats plays, signals, tendencies, Brady's tells, etc. He should give it up. The Vikings are his team now and what does he owe the Pats.

Randy will get a stand o from me when he in introduced. He did everything right for us when he was here. Then I hope we knock his block off.

Moss isn't going to be of any help to what schemes the Vikings should use, if anything he is just going to throw them off.

Let's see-- Moss was the first read on every pass play and the can-opener on the run plays, right? What else do they need to know?

"What was the Belichick playbook, Randy?" asks Childress.

"Give me the ball! Give me the ball!"

Sheesh

I think Randy's really bright. It's his coach who's a dolt. I'm sure Randy will eloquently disseminate lots of useful information to his coach. The problem is that his coach is, plain and simple (emphasis on the simple) a dope.

Randy is a very smart player who knows our offense very well, whether or not the Vikings can use this information to their advantage is the real question.

Well said, good sir.

If our coaching staff is too stubborn to change things up a little, then shame on them. If it causes a loss, so be it. IMHO,they deserve it for being so stubborn. The guy was just traded. Of course he knows our schemes.

Frankly, this could be one area that is a problem for the Pats if they don't change things up against the Vikings. Randy is no football dope. BB has repeatedly said that Randy helps the coaches and other players during the game by pointing things out. I trust that BB is prepared for the intelligence leaks.

Completely agree. And would add he probably knows the defensive schemes pretty inside and out as well. Its not like he covers his ears during when the BB is telling a safety how to cover Randy during a practice.

Sheesh! I first thought you were being sarcastic to the post because I automatically assumed 'coach' meant BB.

It's only after a second that it struck me that Childress is his coach. Whew...and I thought I had put Moss away three weeks ago.

Randy should be talking to the Vikes DC..not that dolt Childress. Then again Brady already said they will change up the signals on offense.

well said lovely lady, my thoughts exactly

Are you imagining that BB isn't going to change things up???? Have you been asleep the past 10 years?

The most detail-oriented and paranoid coach IN ANY SPORT ON THE PLANET and you're imagining him NOT changing up the signals and gameplan this Sunday???????

Or do you get him mixed up with Brad Childress?

You seriously think Moss doesn't know the offense? Of course he does. He probably knows it better than anyone this side of Brady and maybe Faulk. I don't see what the big deal is, though. Moss is a Viking now, of course he's going to do whatever he can to help his team win.

Exactly.

It's elementary that Moss will feed what he knew (and it's alot) to the Vikings coaching staff. That's like understanding a human needs to breathe. I fail to understand why people are shocked about that.

I'm equally astounded to see posters here on this board (some who have been here at least a couple of years) who are even imagining Belichick not changing up signals, formations and strategies for that very reason.
