Hi, fellow Pats fans!

A friend of mine and I are going to be coming down from Maine to the Pats/Vikings game on the 31st. We haven't been to Gillette since the '07 season - obviously there have been a lot of changes to the parking since then with all the new construction. We're going to be sitting in the 115 section and would like to partake in some tailgating before the game. So, some questions:

Where's the best place to park?

Where does the good tailgating take place?

Any other tips for two Mainers who aren't overly familiar with Gillette?

Thanks for any advice! Go Patriots!!

This post on the "Brady calls out Gillette fans" thread is from another Mainer. Maybe you could meet up with them? I am not sure where the liquor store they mention is on Route 1, but maybe you could PM them.

Ok now over the past few years my son and I have gone to quite a few games-park by the liquor store(yup 50.00 bucks-whatever)and I really have had no issues leaving the parking area. I mean jeez we stay till the end, walk to the truck, wait for the State police guy to let us out, go up the wrong way on Rt1(you know on the left of the divider)and are on 95 back to Maine in less then 40 minutes. Not to be a wise ass but you are there with 68,000 other people shouldn't you expect to wait. Dam I pay the price for the ticket-the parkin-the food I'm goin to watch the whole game. Bye the way it is a 2.75 hour ride home for me so no matter when I leave its 7 or 8 till we get home.

We park more toward the 495 side, so that probably wouldn't work for you. There is plenty of tailgating in every lot (from what I have seen).

I've searched all over the forums but couldn't find this but....

Does anyone know when the private lots open, and if it varies from lot to lot, which ones are the earliest.....I know the Gilette lots open 4 hours before but we were hoping to get there a little earlier than that.

I'm heading to the game this weekend, curious about if Gillette Stadium offers WIFI in the parking lots so I can keep updated on my fantasy leagues. I know I can use my phone but laptops are so much better!

Food,Beer,Cornhole and Ladder ball here I come!!

I've never tried it but I saw a guy in P11 connected, updating his fantasy football picks last year.
