Mankins for VJAX? I am puzzled why the Pats would risk spending the money though. Only other guy I can think of is Steve Smith. I really don't believe anything more is gonna happen on the WR front.
I like our receiver/TE group as is.
I suppose Lee Evans is not a realistic possibility?
What the hell, there is no room for another WR.
1. Not in division he isn't.
2. He makes 9M per year. Really think Kraft will sign off on that?
3. Pats are pretty tight with their draft picks. I think a 4th for Branch is likely the most they will expend this season for that position. (Oh they did take Price in the 3rd round of the 2010 draft as well.)
Unless we get a run stopping DT, another OLB and another cover guy, we're not quite there yet.
However, as currently constituted I do think this team is a playoff contender.
OK, ok. You do make sense.
But I think I'd rather have someone like him over Steve Smith.

run stopping DT... meet Mr. Vince Wilfork.
another OLB... sounds good but who and can they adjust to a 3-4 two gap D?
another cover guy... easier said then done. But hopefully Bodden recovers in time for the late season/playoff run.
"Full recovery after rotator cuff surgery often takes 4 to 6 months and in some cases longer. The critical factors that determine the length of the recovery are the size of the rotator cuff tear, the ability to adequately repair the tendons, and the commitment to rehabilitation."

Ok maybe he won't make it back in time. Anyways let's bring in that new WR. LOL. Wonder who it could be?? Hard to believe this is true at the moment.

I'm coming around on Lee Evans as a hard nosed player who could help us. But I don't see us getting him with the factors mentioned above. The price will likely be too high. Both in salary and picks.
