I have a lot of different feelings going into this game as well as I expect some of you to feel the same.

I think one thing we all agree upon is that we want the Minnesota Vikings as a team in whole to beat the New York Jets, thats a given.

What I hope that does not happen is for Randy Moss to light it up tonight,I would rather not see him gloat in the spotlight proud to be traded away from the Pats and happy he is catching passes from Favre and not Brady,I would like to see his stats similar to what he had against the Dolphins ...ZERO.

ON THE OTHER HAND....

I don't want to see Revis totally dominate his matchup with Moss either,I am a little sick of hearing how great he is so you can imagine how much I want him to be exposed tonight.....only problem is its against Moss

I don't want to see Favre have a super great game especially if its the Moss/Favre combo because that to me would make me a little squeamish.

I guess all I have to hope for is that Adrian Peterson runs wild for about 200 yards on the Jets and for the Vikings special teams to do exactly what the Pats STs did last MNF and leave Favre and Moss away from the reason why they won the game.

This game to me reminds me of an old saying....You can't have your cake and eat it too

The last time I felt this way was when the Jets faced the Colts in the AFCCG,You couldn't have it both ways

Man,I am a little bit messed up emotionally going into tonight's game...I need some therapy

For me, not rock, no hard place. I want the Jets to lose. I want them to lose big. I want them embarrassed. I want Revis burnt. I want Cromartie crying. I want Sanchez to throw more interceptions than completed passes. I want LT to run for negitive yards. I want Moss to have a big game. I want Favre to shine.

Come next week. Moss can start sucking.

Totally agree. What do we care how a receiver on a NFC team does? Seriously, no hatred for Moss here. He is who he is, whatever. He's not a Pat anymore. Want the Jets to lose, full stop.

I know how you feel. A few days ago I wasn't even sure I could watch the game, but my love of the the NFL, my generally optomistic attitude and some good points by my fellow fans (and perhaps my rose colored Pats glasses) have led me to accept the trade and move on. Truthfully, though, I would much rather see Moss light it up against the Jets tonight and crush them like bugs, and then maybe have a let down against us in a few weeks. I don't actually believe this is going to happen, by the way, because he and Favre haven't had enough time together, and since Favre is on my fantasy team (brain fart), I have been following him this season. He has been awful; an old man with no accuracy left. It's more likely that Moss won't do much tonight, but in a few weeks once they have some time together, he'll light us up. Such is Murphy's law.

Remember the very first game we had Randy? He had been injured all camp and/or being led along with kid gloves, and everyone thought maybe he was a bust or he wouldn't even play against the Jets. Then he came in and absolutely lit them up, for at least 2 TDs and a mess of yards. I hope he can have one more (and only one more!) game like that. Tonight. Then I want his back to start acting up, and him not to try too hard to go after balls. Then the Vikings fans can question whether he's dogging it.

I hope Moss does play an inspired game and deals the Jets a loss. Moss plays in a different conference, so any loss the Vikes can deal to division rivals is fine by me. He put in some great years with the Pats, so I wish him well (even though the board will be screaming with cries to hang Belichick if he does have a good game, because why wait to see if those results are typical of the rest of his season).

Unfortunately, if Favre puts the ball in the air with his recent accuracy problems, Moss would likely have to juice up with 20 Red Bulls mixed with speed before the game to get to the ball 3 times faster than he physically can to avoid all the interceptions. I hope AP pounds the ball and has a good game against the Jets, because I expect that is the only way the Vikes win this.

Minnesota just doesn't inspire enough bad feelings to make me not want to see the Vikes stomp a division rival. Plus, if Favre does show up to beat the Jets, the Jets fans would take particular offense given the result of his season there.

when stuck between a rock and a hard place, Joe Kerr always uses his handy, dandy, portable jokehammer....:violent:

We want the Vikes to win tonight, then we'll hand them that beatdown defeat in week 7.

i would love for moss to go for the tune of 4 tds

would love for moss to induce a 2nd hammy problem on revis, after beating him of course

would love to see harvin destroy whichever of wilson or cromartie

need to see sanchez play HORRIBLY

and would love to have a 150+ yd russher on that vaunted jets d

Don't watch. Life is too short to get all worked up about an entertainment product. People spend way too much time fretting about issues they have no control over. Tonight, I will be in my home gym working out. I will be going a few rounds with my punching bag, Fat Rex. Afterward, I may knock back some home brew, Braylon .16. And if my chihuahua doesn't keep quiet, I'm gonna kick Tiny Sanchez through the fu*kin wall. See, it's OK to step away from the sport.

two words you need to embrace...ANGER...MANAGEMENT...

I want to see Moss make three great touchdown catches, but I don't want Favre to throw them. It would also be nice if the Jets scored less than 21 points.

This is pretty funny.

I'd like to see Toby Gerhart get 22 carries for 214 yards and 3 TDs. Farve can go 10/31 with two picks, and Moss can go 2/27 with a fumble for loss.

Nail head hammer.:rocker:

In all seriousness. With all the passion and lust of a home Philly crowd, I will be rooting for exploding tendons, a couple of ACLs, and a concussion or two. But besides my interest in Sanchez....could care less.

There is no rock or hard place. We want the Vikings to have the best game of their year today. That will no doubt involve their best receiver.
I want Jared Allen to have a lot of Sanchez face to turf time.
I want Moss to have a lot of jumping over Revis in the end zone time.
I want AP to crush the Jet's run defense stats.
I want Favre to stop sending my wife dirty pictures... but that's not really related to football.
Anyway, I want the Jets to suck, as always. Not because I hate the Jets, but because to win our division we need them to!

100% agree, although if Moss, after destroying the Jets, decided he no longer wanted to play in the NFL I would even be happier.
