Since the Raiders defeated San Diego, the Pats now solely hold the longest winning streak against one opponent, as they beat the Bills for the 13th straight time a few weeks ago (the Chargers were trying to tie us). I know most people would probably rather Oakland lose again and enhance our first rounder from them haha, but still a nice tidbit.

I'm not sure if this is an all-time NFL record or not, someone else would have to look that up.

Since u started this thread we might as well use it for the draft pick status, anyone know where we stand?

So far they are 11th, and they have a shot at winning next week against the 49ers.

As far as the pick is concerned, if this leads the Raiders to go back to JC for good at QB, this win may not be all bad for us.

The Pats' win over the Bills was their 14th in a row (going back to Pats 31, Bills 0 at the end of 2003).

7 teams have one loss or less. 8 teams have 2 losses. Anywhere from 8-15 right now. Depends on strength of schedule which can't really be calculated at this point. The Raiders will be on the low end of the strength of schedule when the season ends because the have an easy sked. So, that would help us.

Do you mean "wins"

I wouldn't worry about our draft pick, I think this has more to do do with the chargers overall ineptitude than a blossoming raiders team.

Raiders play hard and their fans are bananas--they have a good chance of winning each of their remaining home games.

Yes. My bad. The teams with one "win" or less pick before Oakland. Then all of the 2 win teams are placed based on their strength of schedule. The 2 win team with the toughest schedule picks last of all the 2 win teams. The 2 win team with the easiest schedule picks first.

+1. I'm expecting at least 8 wins out of these jokers, unfortunately.

SD handed them the game. Before the end of the game. SD turned it over 3x. Had 2 punts blocked and were down 28-27. Had the ball on Oak 23 with 1:10 left and Oakland out of timeouts. Oaklands only chance should have been a missed fg. But, SD got a holding call then turned it over a 4th time. All the while outgaining Oakland 2-1. The Raiders will not win 8 games unless the rest of the teams they play turn into Santa Claus too

Beginning of 2003???

Okay, let's get this straight.

In the opening week of 2003, the Bills beat the Pats 31-0. That was the last time the Bills beat us.

In the final week of 2003 (regular season, that is), the Pats beat the Bills 31-0. This was the first of 14 straight wins against the Bills.

No need to thank me, I'm just glad to help.

Honestly, the Chargers self destructed. The Raiders had no business winning that game.
