I have a feeling we'll see Sergio Brown on the PS as long as he makes it through the process without getting claimed.

Lets not forget how bad our kick off return team, and kick coverage was last year opponents routinely started at the 40 yard line and beyond last year, I dont think we will miss too many of these guys, our ST has looked pretty darn good all prreseason except for punt coverage in the rams game.

Kyle Arrignton is a beast too

Sorry, but you're wrong. Opponents did not routinely start at the 40 yard line and beyond. Gostkowski averaged 67.8 yards per kick and opposing teams averaged 24.4 yards per return. That means the opponents starting field position was inside their 22 yard line (kick-offs are from the 35 yard line. That puts Gosts kicks 2.8 yards into the endzone..add the 24.4 yards and you get 21.6 as the avg. starting field position on kickoffs) .

NFL Stats: by Player Category

Now, that 24.4 yards is worse than the previous year. But Ghost covered that by kicking so much better.

The punt coverage teams is a different story and a lot of that is due to Chris Hanson. But 9 yards per punt return is not bad. Not great, but not bad.

Now, I agree that our Kick Return groups had issues. And I said as much at the time.. A lot of that has to do with the numerous injuries we had.. and the lack of continuity on that unit.

Punt Returns, Welker was 5th in the league last year with 12.5 yards per return. No Michael Spurlock, but still damn good.

I have them at 59 players, with 6 more to go.

Remember that Ojinnaka doesn't count against the 53 b/c he's suspended for the Bengals game.

RapSheet I'm told Brandon Deaderick has made the #Patriots. Good for him

Well done to him I had hoped he made the team

Dane Fletcher and Kyle Love two other undrafted bubble guys that remain, I think both could have made it.. at least one will probably

No, I am not counting him. I must have missed a couple, as I show 58 guys currently, with out Ojinnaka.

EDIT: I found it, I typed a number keyed in over a COUNTA function, so it wasn't updating.

I know that some here thought Deaderick was not going to make the team. I go back to an observation in a draft guide about him "he did the dirty work and this let other Alabama defensive players make plays. Has a huge upside".

This is one thing a 3-4 DE must willing to do.

d%#*!@t... Sergio Brown's out. There goes my binkie.

Re: Sam Aiken Gone too

Sam Aiken = Kelly Washington

Stout as a member of the Pats STs but totally sucked as a WR most of the time.

I do wish him luck though..he DID try to fit in as a WR,didn't work out.

Hope Brown can get to PS......

Agreed. Former ND coach Corwin Brown favorite.

One thing with Sergio Brown getting cut, Brandon McGowan's injury must not be too serious, which some worried could be season ending a couple days ago.. we shall see.

I think Deadrick is our new Bobby Hamilton.

No way they keep 6 RBs, that has to be one of the remaining 3. I have this positionally:

2 QB
6 RB
3 TE
7 WR (incl. Slater)
9 OL
7 DL
10 LB
9 DB
3 ST

I am thinking Clayton might be insurance if Morriss is IRed...THAt would make sense...

I think you mean Chris Taylor, not Clayton, as Morris insurance. Clayton was cut earlier today.
