1.) You think Price is "apparently" a waste of a 3rd round pick after two preseason games

2.) You think Ninkovich is a "pass rushing demon" after he got one sack against scrubs

3.) You think Connolly is outplaying Mankins

4.) You think McGowan had a good game

Jack

Still stuck in the past!!

Didn't you get the memo that we are now to do "new" football analysis?

MIA: Damione Lewis.

Lewis has to be the only veteran who has not earned a single comment here, good or bad, through 2 preseason games. Any thoughts on him?

Wilfork and Warren are clearly locks, and Wright, Pryor and Brace probably next up. That could leave Lewis fighting Deaderick, Richard and Weston for the last spot.

Add Brace (who never got off the line of scrimmage on the snap. He sat back and got moved to wherever the OT wnated to move him)
Yeah, I saw the Falcons OLine move Brace from LDE all the way down the line, making it look like he was shedding blocks, then push him into the ball carrier and let him force a fumble.

Lewis has been injured. I didn't see much of him against the Saints.

That was a great play and hopefully a sign of things to come, but overall his game wasn't very impressive.

But it's an improvement! He actually played

1. He looks ungaingly, that proably won't change.
2. No, I think he's good in general, last year too.
3. I think he's playing well. He'll be equal at least by end of year.
4. Yes, he made some good tackles. Didn't see him miss anything, but I'm not the DC, so maybe he was out of position.

Right now Cunningham is Down. Needs to get on the field, not beat out Shawn Crable for the career MIA award. Hopefully it's minor and he can spend the next couple weeks learning via OJT.

Add Brace to the Ups! At least better than expected and some encouraging stuff

Yes Brace had a spectacular game for a NT, with three tackles and a FF in the backfield. Murrell is much bigger than Ninko, and heftier than Pierre.

Did anyone notice the 3 guys that Aiken took out on Sammy's TD run, blocked two and got in the way of a third. I thought he also helped on Fred's TD run too.

Arrington once again was miles from his man, and rung the bell of Chung, whom he hit after missing the receiver. I think he has managed to clock every one of his own guys over the past two games, with mis-aimed "big hits".

Pryor got some pass pressure and had a tackle for loss deep in the Atlanta backfield.

Ninko and Daryl Richards combined for a sack, and Pierre Woods had a Pressure that forced Ryan to throw a pass away in a hurry.

Welcome back, Wes!

He is a rookie, and has played in 2 preseason games; give him time!

He was considering a very raw talent leaving college, and missed a good portion of the OTA. He's likely going to be a project we'll see develop later this season or next. I watched that alligator arms play about a dozen times, trying to figure out if he wussed out, but it seems that he was overthrown and he was dropping to avoid the hit after it was over him. But I may have been wrong, the angle was hard to the elevation of the ball.

Gronkowski and Hernandez

I came when I saw that we might finally have some effective tight ends for Brady.

He also had a quick fair catch signal. He's hasn't impressed, but still, he's my lock for the all-important gameday inactive roster.
