The Jets suck (merged)

I've been elsewhere on the internet for a few days.

Did this become jetsfans.com while I was gone?

I'm on the Jets official forum, not a third party forum like GangGreen or JI. The difference between a third party forum and an official one is that the mods will let people away with a lot more on a third party forum because they are relying on traffic/hit count for advertising revenue.

The Jets official forum sucks, good thing they don't need to count on traffic.

You haven't been on there since June 14th, 2009 so how would you know. But you're probably right. Things have picked up since you left

==========================================

What ever.

Welcome, Gunnails.

To be fair I haven't spent much time there. To heavily moderated by invisible mods.

So quick to bash your own. Of course you don't suck here

=======================================

My apologies, I did not mean to insult you.

I have always been disappointed in the Jets official web sites, I do understand they have and continue to evolve and I am sure are improving.

And with all due respects, you are not one of my own as I do not know you.

I suppose there may be a Jets brotherhood back east where we are all buddies because we root for the Jets. I experienced much love when I went to Mecca and saw the Jets play at Giants stadium. The people of NY/NJ were exceptionaly nice to me.

But then again I have made a point of dismissing the coaches code and if nothing else am consistant.

J E T S JETS JETS JETS

Well it's only about a year and a half old. And as I mentioned earlier, the official forums are usually a lot milder than the third party ones because the teams want it that way. I guess they figure it represents them so the restrictions are a lot tougher. So, in that sense, you're probably right.

Exactly what my last post meant

It really does say something about the Jets boards, if fans discuss them on a Patriots board

And they have to have the discussion about their "team" in a thread about it sucking, of all places. Not the Visitors Locker Room forum or even a thread of their own here. How utterly pathetic. It's like going to criminal court to discuss a family gathering.

The jets are annoying and their fans are more so, but the team decidedly does NOT "suck." This is a lame, embarrassing thread.

I think it is called rivalry!

Isn't that what Lohan did?

I've heard of sightings before but never seen one myself. A Patriots fan that doesn't live in the past. Amazing.

I think you're obsessed with the term sucking. It probably took you a couple of years to make it on to bottle fed baby food Pathetic would be you're repetitiveness. I'm struggling with the idea that you might actually talk football at some point. Come one Tune. You're not that blinded by your own hatred for all things Jets are you.

And remember, Gunnails doesn't suck. He does and says all the right things to fit in here!!!

And my favorite one. You're a better team than Miami (and most of the other teams in the NFL), and have been for a long time. I'm not convinced that you're reign is over. I am convinced that we're going to be much tougher competition however.

OK, OK. The Green Beans are lamentable. Is that better? I'd be happy to talk football with you sometime, but this thread is reserved for lamentations about Jabba Wrecks the Carnival Barker and his crew of bloviating anal sphincters.

A very ignorant post. If you'd take time to read the thread and educated yourself, you'd realize that Green Beans lamentology extends way beyond any temporary success it might have recently enjoyed on the field of play. It goes to the very core of organizational philosophy. It is, in every sense, the anti-Patriot way of being.

I've learned so much from this thread. For istance I'd never heard the Jabba Wrecks references before. And I've thought about creating a "Patriots Suck" thread back on my forum, but decided against it because, well, they just don't suck. Not yet anyhow. One day they will, it's inevitable. But for now, they're the best competition we'll face all year. Can't wait for the 9/19 game. Should be the noisiest home game of the year. You going?

The Green Beans always will "suck" until their organizational philosophy changes. They lack integrity and are impossible to respect for that reason, regardless of how they perform on the field. The fact you've overlooked that ultimately will be your cross to bear as a fan, but it's your choice. (The Raiders have fans too.) I might go to the 9/19 game, not sure yet. I've been a Patriots season ticket holder since '94. My confirmed road trips this season are Buffalo and Detroit. I went to the Pats at 'Beans game last year and was flabbergasted at the euphoria and trash talk following that game on the way out of the stadium. It was ONE REGULAR-SEASON GAME, not the Super Bowl. Beans fans acted like uncontrolled children on Christmas morning, got in our face, etc., etc. I never have and never will act that way toward a fan from an opposing team. Here, in this thread, it's another story. Your "team" and fans genuinely do suck -- oops! -- I mean, are lamentable.

And, the reason a Patriots Suck thread wouldn't work in your message board is for the reason you cited -- they don't suck. They are a class organization with integrity and will remain that way regardless of won-loss record. Jersey can't make that claim. If the Green Beans conducted their affairs in a different way, like the Steelers or a half-dozen other teams with integrity, this thread would not exist.

You might find that this thread isn't necessarily about the team sucking on the field; and more about Jabba opening his mouth, and players opening their mouth.

In many other threads, not this on, posters have said how good the Jets will be, but the problem is, the coach and players won't shut up!

Is Ryans aproach that bad though. I know it starks in comparison to that of Bellicheck, but he has motivated his players, and the fans. Lke Tune said about the fans acting like they'd won the SB at the home game he went to. I've read posts by Jets fans talking about how the stadium hasn't rocked that much in years. For everything you guys claim to hate about the guy, I believe he's motivating his team, and for the most part, is just having fun.

You're probably bitter beyond reasonable expectations, but you don't carry yourself with the integrity of the organization you claim to love. I've had encounters with Patriots fans that were despicable, but I don't label you all that way because of it. It's easy be a tough guy on here and speak your mind, but it's cowardly at the same time. Why for example of all the Patriots boards I've been to has this been the only one that carries on the way you do in your posts. There's rivalries, and then there's your approach. You might not be all tha bad. I can see people are amused by your approach. But it's not the approach representative of the Patriots.

Gunnails defends his team and has fun. He just doesn't act like a typical putz of a Jets fan in the process.

*cough* Summer Superbowl *cough*

As soon as I read that last season; I knew Jabba was a loud mouth, that I reckon once the Jest have a poor season, the fans will turn on

One more time. I'll t y p e r e a l l y s l o w l y...

This is a FUN thread, not to be taken as indicative of the forum. Just peruse the other threads. Once the season starts, such non-specific news topic non-game opposing team threads go into special rivals sections. Snotty, superior reactions to this thread need not apply.

Caveat Emptor.

Post in this thread at your own risk.

Sheesh!

I'm having fun. It just seems like when I dish it back, I'm reminded of what the thread's for. Like I can't have fun with it either. Man you're a tough crowd. Bring the heat boys. I'm enjoying it
