I hate Jenkins with a passion but I think in Rex Ryan's defense he is "better" than Vince Wilfork due to his ability to shoot gaps, penetrate, and cause disruption in the backfield. However if running a defense like ours, Wilfork is the better option IMO due to his size to eat up blockers, technique, and because I think he's a little better at stopping the run.

IIRC, Wilfork played one-gap at Miami was was excellent at shooting the gap. One reason Traylor started ahead of him for the first half of his rookie year was that he (Wilfork) had to learn 2-gap.

I wouldn't sell Wilfork short.

Indeed he was, but I still think Jenkins is a little better of a gap-shooter at this point in their careers. Wilfork was very good at Miami at it though, as you stated.

I'd rather have Wilfork personally. He's more durable IMO.

That sh*ts only illegal if you get caught.

Pats need to play the bad boy more this year. Slap a couple a opponents helmets, for crissakes. A few 15 yard unnecessary roughness calls in he 1st halves? Big deal. Get some respect from the league back. Ravens took away any lingering remnants of that in January. Maybe the Pats shoulda slapped 'em upside the head a little more. Instead we see Kevin Faulk being the ONLY guy who manned up. Come on now.
And Tom Lady is so busy daydreaming about his chick, he throws a ball right to a Raven.
Dude doesn't even have enough influence with her to make sure she doesn't give birth during the season. Nice timing. And you wonder why the woman on WFAN New York is calling him Tom Lady.
