1.) The Annual Brett Favre Speculation
Clark needs to judge his fellow members of the media, not the NFL on this topic - though I agree, it has become a worn out story.
2.) Thursday Night Football
I don't mind it at all. Maybe they can incorporate the bye week with TNF, so the teams playing enter the game with a similar amount (10 or 11 days) of time off entering the game. On a similar vein, no team should have to have three straight road games, and teams playing a MNF game should not have to play on the road the following week.
3.) Throwback Uniforms
It does seem like it's getting to be a bit much, though that was probably due in part to the 50th anniversary of the AFL last year. Limit it to no more than once a year; any more than that and it's overkill and no longer special.
4.) Regular-Season Games Overseas
Not a real fan of it but I don't see the harm in one game a year. That works out to each team doing it once every 16 years, and losing a home game once every 32 years; that's not a big deal.
5.) Regular-Season Prices for Preseason Games
As a fan I agree, change that. But I have yet to hear a suggestion on how the owners can make up for that lost revenue.
6.) Flyovers
Similar to throwbacks, they're becoming so common that they are no longer as special as they should be.
7.) Warren Sapp on the NFL Network
Not a big fan of Sapp as an analyst, but that's about the last thing I would complain about and demand to have changed.
8.) Commitment to Excellence
It may seem like a very inaccurate description, but similar to #1, blame the media who seem to feel a need to mention it or show it in every game.
9.) Coaches Halftime Interviews
Agreed, get rid of them, they're useless to us as fans, and coaches shouldn't have to waste their time in the middle of a game being interviewed.
10.) Regular-Season OT Rules
Not crazy about the new rules, but I disliked the old OT rules even more. This one's already been debated to death, no point in beating a dead horse.
