Jets Players Upset at Finding Notes From Brady and Belichick in Locker Room
Only four months after suffering the indignation of watching the New England Patriots players and coaches celebrate their sixth Super Bowl title of this century on their field and in their locker room, Jets players and coaches faced another awkward moment.
Left between the lockers of quarterback Mark Sanchez and cornerback Daryl Revis was a note from a recently retired Brady, that said, "Thanks for the memories. Unfortunately, my hand is too heavy with these rings to continue to play football, so you guys will have to carry on without me."
In the top drawer of Coach Ryan's desk was a note from Belechick, which said, "Rex, thanks for loaning us your space. It works well for celebrations and parties; I'm glad we had a chance to test it out."
With encouragement from the NFL Commissioner's office, the Jets have hired a security firm to check the facilities for bugs and hidden cameras. Revis was heard muttering something about "it's hard enough keeping Tate, Edelman, and Hernandez out of our end zone, but now we can't even keep them out of our locker room."
When asked by a reporter, Patriots owner Robert Kraft simply smiled.
