price seems well, the big guy (anderson? brynon?) not so much, but the guy whos wearing nmber 13 apparently is realy smooth too....

What's this about "soft routes"; don't like that but they were not running again DBs.

Soft hands, not soft routes. It means they catch the ball well.

The didn't run routes as in fake out a DB stuff. They just got the play book. It is day one, a few days after they got drafted. They haven't learned the playbook yet. They are learning to huddle, how practices work, what the pats want in the way of stretching and weight training, how the facility is set up, etc etc. Other than that, it is position drills. WRs run downfield in a pattern (post, fly) as opposed to a route. QBs throw the ball.

Speaking of which when do we see McCourty up against Price?

Look for McCourty against Price in August. May OTAs are about installing the playbook.
