Greg Aiello just announced the suspension, so it's official. Roethlisberger should appeal and/or sue, but he probably won't.

The Steelers have begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top-10 pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

If had to guess I would think Jacksonville and Cleveland are the front runners but I don't know if Rooney would trade his SB QB to a divisional team

They don't have a top ten pick so, as of right now, it's out of the question. However, I have a feeling that Pittsburgh is going to have to settle for something outside of the top ten in order to get Roethlisberger out of their hair.

I believe so....they may have to shop Ben to all the teams or make those teams who are lower in round 1 to have to give more than just a draft pick,maybe something in 2011 if a teams first rounder this year is low enough.

I still think its dumb for a team to give a top 10 pick to a player who may not only be a product of the Steelers system,but also a player that won't join his new team until mid season.

I do think that Rapistberger will be traded and it won't take a top 10 pick.

I think they will give him up for a package of 2nd/3rd/4th round picks and be happy to ship him off. I could then see them grabbing one of the mid round QB's this year (Skelton?) only because I don't think McCoy's arm will work out in Pittsburgh....but that would be a great choice if their scouts think he would...and they would have the ammo to go get him.

first of, he's 28. and if you think this is no big deal then you have not been following the details of the case. Dragging and extremely intoxicated college student into a bathroom while his personal security stands guard. Exposing himself. Cuts, bruises, vaginal bleeding. Not to mention the facts that he has been accused of this on three seperate occasions.

Agree with you completely! These 'boys will be boys' type answers are idiotic at best. Anybody who thinks that way about these "incidents" please stay away from my wife and daughter. Thanks.

Have you been to Pittsburgh in the winter?...not exactly Florida you know - its not like Ben was playing for the Jaguars or Dolphins...although I could see the Jags having interest

I heard from ESPN once and all i understood was some girls friend reported his body gaurd was not allowing anyone into a ladies bathroom.

I do not keep in touch with what is going so sorry. I did not know it was his 4th incident either. I thought it was his 1st and did not see a pattern.

No indictment and 6 games, there is a LOT of material that isn't public. I am aware of the Georgia and Reno incidents. I heard about a Vegas incident, anyone know about the other 2 incidents?

My buddies a Steeler fan and he says the city of Pittsburgh has turned on Ben. The Steelers supposedly like this Dixon kid for quarterback and are hoping to get the Ram's #1 hello Suh...... This would make too much sense for the Rams since they would not have to pay Ben's signing bonus and would be getting a sure thing.
