Biggest rumor and most possible to me is Ben going to the Rams and the Rams giving the #1 to Pittsburgh who is highly impressed by the college career of Sam Bradford who they would then go to draft.

I heard a rumor last week that the Rams are looking to trade the #1 pick because they don't feel any of this year's QBs are worth said pick, but they're afraid if they take a D-lineman their fans will go schizo like Texans fans did when they took Mario Williams instead of Vince Young.

But it wasn't Ben they were supposedly looking at, it was another QB, and darned if I can remember who that was.

Now Goodell is contemplating an announcement DURING the draft... yeesh... But then again this is the guy who though a pro bowl game the week before the superbowl in the same city as the superbowl was a good idea.

With the Carriker trade they've set the plate to trade #1 and Bradford to Cleveland and go with Clausen or McCoy later.

With the Carriker trade they've set the plate to trade #1 and Bradford to Cleveland and go with Clausen or McCoy later.

Apparently Cleveland landed the no mans land pick, just out of reach of the 5-6 players believed to be the elite players worthy of a top ten contract... I guess they really don't like Clausen, and apparently the Rams aren't all that keen on Bradford. Some are predicting a swap at less than book value...

Florio just reported that the Steelers have received preliminary trade talks from some teams, and they haven't ruled out a trade.
