Re: Gut feeling: Buffalo is going to offer a pick-package for Big Ben

Trash him all you want, and I have absolutely no time for him off the field but on the field he is a top 5 QB because he has the clutch game.

I don't want the Bills taking him and its not because I dislike him, its because he will improve that team an awful lot.

Jetdell will make Rapistburger enter alky rehab...then what....random pee tests ? mandatory AA meetings?...any team that would poison their atmosphere before the season even starts with this media monster/moron should be investigated for negligence.

maybe tiger can be his sponsor at sex addicts anonymous down in miss.

"hi, i'm ben and i'm......"

Re: Gut feeling: Buffalo is going to offer a pick-package for Big Ben

I dont care if they do get him. Romo, cutler and Ben, top three over rated qbs in the nfl.

I dont count sanchez, he just straight up sucks.

LOL And at least Romo is a seemingly pleasant fellow...who at least seems to try and listen to his coaches and critics. Drafting QB's in the first round is a crap shoot in more ways than one... The hype fueled level of arrogance often outweights the measurables exponentially.

No worries, if the Bills take him, all BB has to do is set a honeytrap before the game. Problem solved.

I'm not worried about it.

first of all, one guy doesn't make a team.

secondly, I just worry about the pats --- I don't really care much what anybody else does.

Re: Gut feeling: Buffalo is going to offer a pick-package for Big Ben

I wouldnt worry about it at all but honestly, he makes their team better and he gives the Bills a "face of the franchise". Its so hard to draft a QB and if a team is dumb enough to trade one thats won 2 superbowls under the age of 30 its a great move especially since Ben has yet to be charged with anything.

That's more or less what was said when Bledsoe went to the Bills. That didn't turn out too well either. Ben could be on top of his game, but without good receivers and TE, and an O-line that can protect him, he'll end up with a new sack record.

I think Roethlisberger could work with Buffalo's receivers. His receivers, prior to last season, in Pittsburgh weren't that good either.

For the right price you better believe Pitt will seriously consider shipping him off because Tomlin has a lot of faith in Dixon.

I think a couple of Superbowl MVP's would disagree with you.

Besides Ward, the receivers that Pittsburgh had really weren't that special. I should have worded my post better though. For some reason, I thought that Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl last season. So what I really meant was "prior to 2008". In 2005 when they won the Super Bowl, the receivers he had to work with could probably be put on par with the receivers that Buffalo has now.

Anyone have an idea what Big Ben's value is in a trade? I don't think he's worth the Bills #9.

Once a player is known to be a troubled issue and the team is willing to listen to offers automatically eliminates a #1 trade although I think the Rams are in a different situation where they would offer a #1 strictly out of desperation.,At least the Bills have 2 QBs who have been in thier system right now while the Rams would have to rely on an unproven Bradford.

Rapist or not, the guy has two Super Bowl rings. The Steelers would get a first out of whichever team would be willing to entertain a trade.

Exactly what I think too.

There have been three reported incidents within the past year related to Toothless and his pet mouse. Two Super Bowls or not, the guy is a time bomb, Pittsburgh may get as much as a 2nd from a desperate team who is wiling to gamble they can win a Super Bowl before he crashes and burns again, but at the moment there are two truly desperate teams - Chicago and NYJ, both of whom have invested heavily in new QBs. St. Louis just doesn't appear to be that desperate, Cleveland is, but Holmgren knows better, so all Pittsburgh can hope for is someone like Dallas is willing to bench Romo and shell out a lesser pick for a proven winner, or Minnesota when Favre doesn't show up in September. I just don't see anyone else taking the chance.

There is word out earlier this week that an incident with Ben at a Las Vegas Nightclub may be coming to surface as well.

It's already been buried, the woman in question elected to not pursue it after her attorney explained how the process worked - but the NFL is aware of it.

I can't see Pittsburgh parting ways with him for less than a first until/unless some concrete evidence, and not just hearsay, comes to the surface in this case.
