Would have posted this myself.
Don't want him at all.
Patriots fans on Twitter seem to be in a lather about him.
a) We've got our Return Guy in Brandon Tate.
b) I'd rather put Aiken, Slater or Stanback out there over Ginn.
And the biggest reason:
No shot that Parcells or the Dolphins trade us a Receiver.
Definitely... top ten of the 5th round. Maybe 4th. Though unlikely in the division.I wonder if he can be gotten for less than a top 10 pick, though....
Let's trade them AD for Ginn.
Has Belichick *ever* picked up Parcells' trash?
What have Tate, Aiken, Slater (the guy who runs straight as fast as he can into a tackler), or Stanback done that makes you so confident.
I think the price might be too high for Ginn, but he's a better return man than any of those four, at least until proven otherwise.
Don't give me a defender who can't tackle, and don't give me a receiver who can't catch.
But in answer to the question, probably a 5th round pick. .
Hadn't thought of him. But I just refreshed my memory, and he was a UFA when the Pats picked him up, not a cut or a trade (hence not "trash"). And Belichick had coached him the previous season so he was arguably at that moment more of a Belichick guy than a Parcells guy.Bobby Hamilton. Worked out really well actually.

Basically the same thing that Gregg Rosenthal tweetedNot unless they throw in his family.

I think Otis Smith and Roman Phifer were also a Parcells leftovers.
