File this under the "leave no stone unturned category", football players wanted but I don't see how his game translates here unless he's turning into a Safety. Might be a good late round or FA pick up to develop and add some bulk to.

LB from Indiana, my ESPNInsider has him at 6'1-1/4" and 233lbs. At that size he isn't a 3-4LB, probably looking at him as a ST hero in the late rounds.

Hey now, he's the same size as Oscar Lua! What's not to like?

Eric Alexander was a former Safety turned LB, bulked up, and has been on ST for how long now? This kid's much faster though -- w/ a great attitude.

BB's always looking to upgrade the entire roster -- not just the starters.

CDS has Mayberry listed at 6'2, 244 lbs with 4.7 unofficial speed. Looks like a day 3 ILB prospect. Can he play the strongside position?

Matt Mayberry, LB, Indiana

I just checked out his Pro Day report.
They had him weighing in at 235, but he ran a 4.48-4.5 40!
I think his playing weight might have been 245ish.
If he can get up to 250, he'd probably run around 4.6??

"Linebacker Matt Mayberry also turned a few heads. Mayberry ran in the low 4.5 second area, though some watches had him as fast as 4.48 seconds, after weighing in at 235-pounds. He completed 24 reps on the bench and posted a broad jump of 9? 11”."

NFLDraftScout has the rundown from Mayberry's Pro-Day:

Height: 6'1 1/8"
Weight: 235 lbs.
40: 4.57
20: 2.64
10: 1.56

REPS: 25
Vertical:
Broad jump: 9'0"
20 yd shuttle: 4.32
3 cone: 7.07

4 year player. 2 year starter at MLB.

Could be an interesting prospect for the ILB position.
