Siler went undrafted, correct? Or did he get drafted late in the 7th? I guess the Pats saw in him exactly what the other 31 teams saw in him.

Yep, there was clearly a red flag the whole league saw that wasn't obvious to fans and pundits, since he was projected as a 2nd rounder and dropped to the very end of the draft. But for once it looks like the fans and pundits were right.

Bradley is a sensitive subject around here....

the reason for the red flag never came out........which suprises me even more since he played for urban meyer....given the connection, what did urban meyer say to BB about him, and why were they wrong?

Two more guys I like a lot, but forgot to mention:

George Johnson - despite the recent success of Rutgers players in the NFL, he's a totally overlooked DE/OLB prospect. Didn't have overwhelming stats this year, (6.5 sacks, 13 TFL), but was often asked to play in coverage instead of rush the passer, which could accelerate the transition to OLB. Hard worker, vocal player who pumps up his teammates. Has great size (6'4.5 #270) and strength (29 reps), and timed at 6.99 in the three-cone drill, which is excellent for his size. Only ran a 4.8, but is reportedly very quick in short areas. Projected as a free agent at this point, but could be an ideal 7th round gamble on a developmental OLB.

Quentin Scott - Taylor Mays size, but with better fluidity and ball skills (5 INT this year). Superb athlete, just learning the position, but extremely hard working and intelligent. Check out this excellent interview with JB Scouting for more info. I'd love to add this guy to the safety mix, and think he could be unbelievably on special teams.

I like Johnson quite a bit. Given that pass rushing is the new black, I'll be surprised if he's still on the board come Round 6. If he is, I fully endorse taking him.
