Given the age that premier left tackles can hang around in the league performing at a reasonably high level, I wouldn't in a hurry to move Light at all. I saw nothing in his game this season that showed his play falling off a cliff. He's a solid and stable performer -- not all-World -- but he plays well enough.
Kaczur and Koppen are the biggest liabilities in my book. Kaczur has never really been a strong presence, and Koppen in my eyes took a step backwards this season.
But Light isn't a premier LT. He's an above average LT at best. And the thing is, do you really think that the Pats will extend him to a big money contract at the end of the year when they have Vollmer waiting in the wings? Perhaps it's better to get a pick for Light now, then get only one year more of Light's services and let him walk as a free agent? There's value to keeping Light, but there's also value to trading him (a draft pick who could turn into a young player who will be around years after Light is gone).
