Actually it was bigger than that. Had the Eagles won last week, they would have been the #2 seed and gotten a bye this week....

Oh, wow, really....that makes them look even more delusional and idiotic. I know you don't want to come off a loss like that acting like it's doomsday, but to come out and act like you don't care about losing because you had big playoff plans when you were essentially playing the exact same game the next week BECAUSE you lost is mind-blowing to me.

So much to play for....and to lay such a big egg. I'm not at all surprised they don't look good tonight.

Congratulations to Wade Phillips and Tony Romo for finally getting that 500 pd gorilla off their backs!

However - it's all going to end in Minnesota next week - the Vikings are the team to beat in the NFC, and they no longer will have to play outdoors AND on grass AND in the cold freezing weather from here on out.

This is a team ready to implode, especially with the question of who is the QB next year McNabb or Kolb. He proved he could play this year but another year and both Kolb and MsNabb's contracts are up after 2010.....

The exclamation point on McNabb's career... His patented, orchestrated meltdown. I have never understood the love slathered all over this franchise and it's HC and it's QB (although not by his own fans...) by the football mediots. They were NEVAH anything like us and the comparisons were ridiculous. Lurie is from here, big deal..

Jim Johnson was the real backbone of the Eagles the past decade...when he passed away, their defense regressed to what you see today.
