You're right, the crowd did sound great on TV! Simms mentioned it to, saying something like "not taking winning for granted".

and i loved that they put high volume also on 'Nfl On Cbs theme song' (i love it) on every break

That was one of the best sounding crowds on TV that I've heard from Gillette in a few years now.

it was ALRIGHT in my section. Seemed like an awful lot of empty seats scattered around though. More than usual. Especially for a rats game.

Some dude a few sections over had a Giant Crying Ryan Cardboard head. Thought that was pretty funny.

Got myself a bit hoarse yelling in the 1st QTR as the Pats got off to a slow start before Bodden's pick Six. Sometimes on 1st or 2nd down it wasn't that loud but by 3rd down folks were into it. Chillier than forecast, the red seats started emptying out in the 3rd quarter as Muffy and I went inside to sample some fine Alsacian wines.

In 2007 the tea-and-crumpets crowd was an embarassment.

i don't think people expected it to be as chilly as it was. Luckily, I know better and prepared accordingly. That place can turn into an icebox quickly if you don't have on the appropriate gear.

You should have yelled at them to stand up. I can just imagine it.

"Sir, please do sit down! My little chap and I are trying to enjoy a lovely game of pigskin and we cannot do it with you standing up and making all that racket!"

Ya, I hear ya. I try and be respectful but at some point it gets ridiculous. I mean it is a football game. I've gone to a few other staidums (KC, Denver, Indy, Jest) and the sit down crowd would be shocked that in KC and Den they really don't ever sit down.

Being asked to sit down...ridiculous. When my son and I were at the Titans game, the whole section I was in (214 if I recall) stood almost the whole first half. No complaining or whining.

Exactly. The same geniuses who can't predict the same day's weather were too busy running bogus computer models of the next decade's climate to get the day's temperature right. Always prepare for the worst.

Crowd was loud except for a lull at the start of the second half. Personally calling out the two rows of season ticket holders in section 125 that preferred to discuss work and were part of the "please, sit down brigade" Guys your team is driving with a minute left till the half on your side of the field and your spent more time yelling at people to sit down then you did supporting your team at anytime during the game.......please next time sit at home!

Crowd was loud. There was a group of guys a few rows down from us that had shirts with a picture of Ryan. They said "We'll Give you Something To Cry About B*tch!"

Saw lots of people getting arrested. I'm willing to bet that all of the cells under Gillette were overflowing.
