If John Parry is officiating the game I'm gonna freak out. He's the guy that reversed the Polamalu INT

and he was also part of the crew that negated Cromartie's 80 yd TD INT on a phantom hold in the 2007 divisional playoffs.

Hopefully it's Hochuli

As hard as it is to admit, the Colts are winning... period. They're winning big sometimes, they're winning ugly sometimes.
They've dealt with a bunch of injuries, Brown & Gonzo on O, and the Christmas list on D.

When Seyton's not on, they've won, when the D was getting run over, they've won.

I keep hearing about BB unveiling more exotic defenses (since 2007), and it isn't happening. We don't have a pass rush, and aren't getting to the Qb unless we commit like 6 or 7 guys. That doesn't bode well going into Indy.

I'm not sold on who Indy has played, but they've beaten the same Dolphins team that we didn't put away until the end. They beat a Houston team that supposedly had a good offense. they beat a SF team that had a solid defense.

The Pats will definitely be the most complete team Indy will have faced thus far, but I still have to concede they're playing well despite all the injuries.

Ok guys, give the colts some credit... I know its hard to but please, try.

Texans were ranked #1 in passing in the nfl. Our banged up defence held them to 17 points. thats pretty f*cking good

The calls by the refs were NOT bad calls. the texans shot themselves in the foot. all of the calls were legit, like it or not.

The colts problem today was surprisingly the offence. Peyton has been off and i'm sure he will get things together for the pats.

should be a great game

well said.. quoted for truth

Indy has 8 wins, all of them are luck

Cant wait to see Chung and McGowan kocked Manning's head off

Lmao... I shouldn't even give this a responce..

great teams find ways to win games. The Colts do that. they're a good team so stfu.

I can not wait for next sunday. going to be a very very very long week

Brady should have a field day in that comfy indoor palace. Can't wait!

Actually, that ridiculous 15 yd penalty on Houston for drilling Dallas Clark was a horrendous call. The NFL is handcuffing defenses if they won't allow them to hit a receiver when the ball is on it's way to him. Crap, imho.

I wonder if BB is going to bring in a 3rd safety to try and negate Dallas Clark? Unless Guyton can stick with him, I don't know if w have another LB quick enough, so a 3rd safety, ala Rodney, makes the most sense. Maybe run the Brandons & Wang Chung?

The Colts o-line is really giving Peyton a lot of time this season, and against our anemic pass rush, we are going to have to cover like velcro.

two words... dwight freeney

bradys gonna be on his back most of the game

Vollmer matches up better against Freeny than ANY other NFL tackle with the exception of perhaps Ryan Clady. Write it down, Freeny is going to have a long day.

Not true at all. Good teams find ways to win. Our success over the decade was in a lot of ways the same strategy. We found a way to win in Superbowl 36, we found a way to win against the Chargers in 06 (when they actually outplayed us in nearly every phase of the game). Good teams find ways to win. Period. And I for one have to give the Colts credit for finding ways. Especially with the injuries they've suffered on D.

In full candor, I am more confident about the Indy game than I was this Miami game.

Nice to see a Pats fan show a little objectivity about the Colts.

The Colts are winning. They're winning big, they're winning ugly, they're winning with injuries. We've done the same thing in the past, and crowed about our ability to overcome injuries, win when not at our best, etc. We shouldn't demean the Colts for doing the same thing. Until someone beats them, they and NO deserve top billing. They're more consistent than we are right now.

They're 8-0 right now and we're 6-2. We blew at least one game we had put away. They haven't blown any yet. Now we go to Indy on the road, and we had better be better than we were this week if we want to get out with a "W".

I think we're a more complete team and that Indy is vulnerable. But they were vulnerable to Houston too, and Houston couldn't execute. We didn't execute particularly well today.

Bring our A game (or very close to it) and I think the Pats win 24-14, or something like that. Bring anything less and I think we lose. And we'd better find a way to pressure Manning and beat him up the way we used to, and not play "BBDB".

JMHO, as a 40 year Pats fan.

Great post.... spot on. No one gets extra points for their record coming into the game. This is a huge game for the Pats since the Colts could afford to lose, although I'm sure that just like us, they always have this game circled.

More than anything, this would give the team confidence that they are still among the elite and have a good chance to win it all if they execute. You have to hand it to any team with an 8-0 record, although the Colt season so far (which I watch alongside the Pats) does not convince me that the Colts are better than the Pats. I think the Pats are gradually getting better every week and they beat a very underrated team today. The Colts have peaked at early/midseason every year since 2004 (except for 2006.) Their injuries and and recent weak showings suggest the Pats are not far behind at all, if they are in fact behind.

A couple of things.

- Houston have been a Jeckyl and Hyde team this year.
- Even with the Texans lacking execution, they were a missed 42 yard field goal from bringing the Colts to overtime after outplaying the Colts in the second half.
