Pats receiver Randy Moss wears pink gloves to promote breast cancer awareness.

Reggie Bush to wear these cleats:

Ok here are the cleats they want me to wear in support of Bre... on Twitpic

That's pretty classy of anyone in the NFL to do. I've recently lost 2 grandparents to cancer. So it's a cool thing to see these "tough guys" do this.

Yep , i think so.Real men wear pink for cancer awareness.

Sorry for your loss.

the auctions for those items should raise some good money for the cause too. Very nice of them.

I lost my mom to breast cancer two months before my wedding, and my aunt (her sister) last year, so I say this is awesome.

On a related note, one of my favorite Pats mini-helmets in my collection is the pink one. You might remember those from a few years ago, a percentage of the price went to breast cancer research.

I'd say that Terdell Smith is most at risk for breast cancer. Interestingly, it's possible yet rare in males.

Interestingly, it's possible yet rare in males.

There was a male TV anchor within the last 5yr or so to beat breast cancer... So yeah, it is possible but rare in males.

Bill Griffith from KGTV channel 10 in San Diego.

It's good that they are doing this and I hope it raises $ for breast cancer research.

I hope that they don't overdo it like baseball did.

The goal posts and the ball on kickoffs will be pink also.

That is what I meant about baseball. You can bring attention to something without making it look silly. I hope that you are wrong.

Oh one more thing. It will be for the whole month of October.

Ok so I googled it after blabbing what I heard.

The padding on the goal posts will be pink and the ball will have a pink ribbon insigna on it.

It's for a great cause and I don't mind it one bit just found it weird when I heard the goal posts would be pink. It's the padding not the whole posts.

Last time I trust a radio guy.

awesome. unfortunately what guys like Moss and Bush are doing still won't get half the media attention of Plaxico et al.

PROPAGANDA... some day they will find a cure for cancer, find Osama Bin Laden, AND the magic bullet that killed JFK.

I thought the thread was going to show hot chicks or something.

Do you guys have these in the US? They're all over the place here. I gotta admit, I concur.

It's a great cause, but it's hard not to wonder how so much money is leading to so little progress.

Boy, I tell ya whoever organizes the fund raising for breast cancer is a genius. Other cancer organizations are jealous - and I mean that literally. Advocates for other types of cancer feel they miss out on funding and donations since so much goes to breast cancer.

Still, it is a very noble endeavor and it is nice to see the players bringing awareness.

I could come up with some great T-shirts for prostrate (sic) cancer...
