Ortiz really changed when they started that shift on him. when his knees and wrist were better he was actually working on going opposite field ... but it took a toll on him.

He is now doing what I feel he should have been doing all along and that is swinging for Home Runs. With the shift he cannot possibly hit for a decent average without going the other way - at least he finally accepts it which I don't think he has until now.
