I think the Sox should be happy with 5 games, which will probably be 4. I think it's a little light (only cuz he threw the helmet), but still a sizable enough figure.

IMO, Youk should not have been given a 5 gm suspension.

I don't condone brawls but he was getting thrown at in the first 2 games by Tiger pitchers.

The last hit on the back was enough, but getting 5 games is ridiculous. Youk has been hit 10 times this season .....:banned: Way too much!

A one or two game suspension would have been plenty!

Youk gets hit so much because he hangs over the plate. If you charge the mound, you are going to get 5+ automatically. The suspension is fair.

Yes and no. He does get hit more because he hangs a bit, but he also gets hit because hes the best hitter on the team. And Joba hates him.

True, being the best hitter on the team is going to get you hit more often when a team is retaliating but Youk hasn't been hit intentionally all that much.

Btw, Joba has never hit Youk.
