If I'm a dog, I'm scared of Vick. If I'm a football fan, I'm not scared of him being on my favorite team.

I see a difference between the people in my life and the people on TV running with a football in their hand. I don't want to be Vick's bff - I just don't think it's worth it to cease being the fan of a sports team because he's a member of that team.

I don't think he's coming to NE for many reasons. If he does, I'm still going to be a huge Pats fan. I cheer for the logo.

I see you've thought this through...

That's the best one yet, as he learned the system...

He couldn't learn to consistently operate even a considerably dumbed down system in 6 years in Atlanta.

BB has brought more out of lesser players. I'll stand by that.

Pressed further on the team's possible interest in Vick, Belichick replied: "You know, I think we would consider ... Well, we’re coaching the players we have on the field right now. Anybody who isn't here ... is there a potential they could be here? Yeah, there probably is." Now he's just toying with us.

apparently 26 teams have made a definitive "no" statement concerning the signability of Vick. This I heard on ESPN radio this morning. I can not find it in print.

I donlt want him because I think he is a lousy qb. However, if BB thinks he can utilize him, I'm all for it. As far as I am concerned, Vick has served his punishement (and then some) for his crime. It still blows my mind that Stallworth kills a man and does how much time? Two days? Vick does 2 years for killing some dogs - especially pit bulls. I shake my head just thinking about how ridiculous that is.

Whoa. This will get the BB exegetes out in full force and full throat! On the one hand, he could be jerking the mediots' chains, a task that he performs particularly well and with a great deal of pleasure. On the other hand, "Yeah, there probably is," doesn't shut any doors and could arguably be nudging one open.

I totally agree. I don't WANT Vick taking away plays from Brady. Insane. Just saying it's ALSO insane for someone to say they'll stop being a fan if a certain peson plays on that team.

Def. a "guy" site, but unless it was a coordinated effort by a bunch of guys to send him emails about seeing Vick at Logan, I'm listening ...

Pretty sure PFT picked it up and is running with it, so it will start gaining steam

(Btw, BSS's best feature is Rate this Sex Scandal Teacher, which really shines a light on the unfathomable number of female teachers having sex with HS students. I swear, there is like 2-3 a month. Crazy.)

I say bring it on... if Vick can play at or near the level he did before he got locked up, adding him to the offense makes us better IMO.

As a veteran of the "No Way the Patriots sign Randy Moss" camp, I'm not ruling this out. The tea leaves are starting to point at it, at least a little. If he does sign, I just hope he doesn't play QB much.

I wouldn't mind them signing him just to keep him away from Pitt. Which is ironic, bc you know if they take him, the media will fawn all over them and Mike "Media Darling" Tomlin giving him a chance, and if the Pats sign him it's just same old Evil Empire.

Seriously how can a guy who would be on the field at most a dozen or so plays a game make the difference on whether this team goes to the Super Bowl or not. No player with such limited playing time can make that much of a difference.

Well in the 5 or 6 times Ronnie Brown ran the wild cat against us he scored 5 TDs so I think Vick could have a SLIGHT impact...
