Holley predicts Monroe or Cushing

Maybe it's the White Nation facebook group he joined, that Clay Matthews made? And also the inappropriate joke on there that they should lock up all Black babies before they become criminals?

You could probably pen babies in. I don't think locking them up would be necessary.

I am not a fan of Cushing. I can't put my finger on it, but there is something about the kid that I don't like. Personally, if they move up for a top O-Lineman, I am all for it. WE MUST PROTECT THE FRANCHISE!!

You don't like that he looks like a complete douchebag.

I predict that everyone will be happy with the pick by the week after the draft when they see the draft choice holding up his new Patriots jersey.

It is so funny that people here are looking at a player and saying the know he used steroids or they get the feeling that he used steroids. Don't you think the Pats people would know this before anyone here. You don't think they have doctors checking this crap out. If they pick Cushing, obviously they are comfortable with him. No one's going to trick them.

This isn't the 80s.

Rodney Harrison down?

The NFL's steroid testing is shotty at best. It would be relatively easy to beat, with enough time to prepare for it. Im almost certain they test urine, which is the easiest to mask. So why this isnt the 80's, the NFL's testing methods do seem to be stuck there.

Cushing without a doubt in my mind roided up. I would bet my house AND my dog on it. That's how positive I am.

Cushing is one of the few players who would really upset me. I totally believe that he has a steroid history - perhaps not current, but in the past. And that is too big a risk flag for me to consider him at all. He's off my board entirely.

I agree. And they'd better not take that punk Meriweather either. That fight he got in showed serious serious character issues.

Word on the street is, Andre Smith is the #1 OT on the Bengals (#6) board. Monroe would then most likely be the sliding OT and could make it to #8 or #9. Cushing would shock the board at #23 -- let alone a trade up.

A thought that hasn't been mentioned today is, KC & Pioli is still a mystery as Curry, Jackson, or an OT, have all been targeted there. However, I'm certain BB KNOWS who they're selecting, which gives him an edge in any trade-up scenario regarding sliding players.

No way, Smith would be a right tackle to start. Light stays at LT, then Smith would move over later on, I would guess.

Smith looks like more of a right tackle to me anyway.

Fred Taylor running behind Andre Smith, with all those DBs back chasing Randy Moss, sounds pretty deadly to me.

My grandmother could gain a 1000 yards running behind Smith and Neal on the right side.

The more I think about it, the more I think Eugene Munroe is the Pats' target if they trade up.

Im sorry i understand the importance of an OT or OL in general.

But i am really really hungry for some young defensive youth, in a draft where it is abundant.

I'm assuming Holley is predicting a trade up for Monroe or staying put and drafting Cushing. I would be extremely disappointed if the Pats took Cushing. He just doesn't seem like a 3-4 OLB to me. In fact, he reminds more of a Chad Greenway type LB. I hope the Pats trade up for Curry (if available) or LT.

Cushing is a force on the field whether people choose to accept it or not. The guy swarms to the ball and has instincts like those of Laurinatis. The guy is purely smart and if this organization believes he is clean and ready to play without worry. Draft him.
