Your Fearsome Foursome!!!!

If I could take my pick of people who may be on the board at the time, I'm rolling with Jenkins, Sintim, Wood, and Chung.
I could definitely live with that!

I trully think we'll have to make a decision between English/Barwin/Sintim/Matthews or Delmas or Wood at #34. I'd be happy with Luigs and Vaughn as my latter half of day one.

1.Larry English - should be avaliable at 23, and is the best pass rusher at that range
2.Alphonso Smith - Kinda like Brandon Flowers last year but has more potential IMO
3.Jamon Meredith - Swing Tackle, probably takes over at Right Tackle sooner rather than later
4.Will Moore - I like Rashard Johnson as well but he is too similar to Merriweather, so Moore is a better option cus of his size/play style

I usually don't try to make predictions on who we will draft because BB usually does the unexpected. I'll give it a shot though.

Malcolm Jenkins, DB. If he is still there at 14, I think BB will package our last 2nd rounder with 23 to move up.
Connor Barwin, OLB. If English is available, he may be the pick instead.
Donald Brown, RB. If there at 47 he is too valuable to pass up.
William Beatty,T. If BB trades away the 58 pick, he may have to package some lower picks to get him.

I like the looks of this, and the logic behind a lot!
I'll substitute Patrick Chung SS for Donald Brown though......

Yeah, I like the sound of that a lot.

Jenkins, Barwin, Chung, Beatty

I gotta go with Bill B here - I like Chung, but if Donald Brown is available at 47 he's too valuable to pass up. We could always trade up in the 3rd and try to get Chip Vaughn.

OK Agreed..... BTW, anyone really believe Beatty lasts till #58?

That would be a really good scenario. I really like Butler and English.

1) Darius Butler
2) Duke Robinson
3) Lawrence Sidbury Jr.
4) William Moore

I doubt it a lot, but it'd be nice

Maybe in B Bills original post he was assuming a trade-up to get Beatty...

Any combo of DE/OLB, OL, SS, CB works for me..... All selected in the first 60 makes it doubly sweeeeeet. Can't wait for Saturday to get here....

Beatty
Barwin
Unger
W Moore
+
Brinkley

However I have a feeling too we'll either be moving up to get Curry or Jenkins and/or somehow getting Peppers ..

I would really be pleased if they traded up to #10 (23 plus one of the second rounders, not #34) to get Raji, Jenkins, or Curry (talk about him falling, but I don't see it). Ideally then pick English with #34 (who I've seen taken in some mocks here, but as high as the #23 pick as well).

#23 Clint Sintim - going back and forth between Matthews/Barwin/Sintim which I'd be happy with any of them. I think Sintim is the most ready to take the OLB starting role of the 3.
#34 James Laurinaitis - If he drops this far it would be a no-brainer. He would be a great replacement to Bruschi.
#47 Patrick Chung - Any of the safeties could be taken here, but I feel Chung has the most potential on ST taking the load of Meriweather.
#58 Eric Wood - He will need to make a conversion to OG, but I think he can do it. He fits the mold and Scarnecchia seems to like him.

Any combo of DE/OLB, OL, DB would be fine with me. BB will trade down one pick which will leave 3 players taken in the first 2 rounds.

I like your thinking for the four butI think the positioning is backwards. There are really only two ILBs and maybe Sintim makes three. But there are a bundle of DE to OLB conversions,so itsmor elikeluy a good wone wil fall to 34 . Besides BB says he wants to insure hsi first round picks don't bust. Laurnaitis is no bust. It is probelematical with the conversion guys some will, some won't make the transition. Eric Woods is a good three position interior player, and Chung looks to be a good addition at S.

For me the jackpot would be to get Beatty instead of Woods. LOTs are much tougher to find, whereas you can find or pickup, or trade, for an interior guy.

If Woods doesn't go to Pitt in the 1st round, he'll definitely go to the Browns @ 36, or the Bengals @ 38. If you're going to pick him, you have to be willing to use #34.

I can definately see Mack and Wood going 32 & 34 in no particlar order.

Seems like Pitt would like Wood to battle Nigata(sp)

This would be a great day if it played out. Nice.

Great question....

1) Id like to thank Mayo for this idea, Trade #23, #58, and #89 for #8 from the Jags to select...Aaron Curry-LB Wake Forest

2) At pick #34 we select...Connor Barwin OLB/DE Cincinnati

3) At pick #47 we select...Louis Delmas-S WMU

That's a good point. You know if the Pats take a project at 23 they must be really high on him. We'll have to trust their judgment.
