Well, we got twenty picks in today thanks mostly to a late afternoon rally. Maybe with each day getting closer the pace will pick up a little bit; we need to get it up to about 30 picks per day in order to finish before the NFL Draft starts.

I hadn't heard of Peerman and just looked him up. I'm impressed. One reviewer, Cedric Peerman at104 - Field Gulls , thinks he could really be good.

McBath has been variously rated the 2nd to 3rd best FS in the draft and expected to be taken between rounds 2-3 so to get him in round 4 is a big coup for the Chargers who waited for value to come to them. They had no choice but to wait since they are missing their second round pick (traded to New England).

Yeah, he was my first pick for the Jets in this round. Actually it was a good thing that I made up a list of 5, as 3 of my top 4 went just in front of me. The smae thing happened to me w/ the Jets pick in the 2nd as Josh Freeman was actually my 5th choice w/ 6 picks to go.
Some are thinking of Sherrod Martin as a cb. I see him as staying at safety which he played through college. A somewhat brittle player, but one w/ big upside.

Wow good thing the Chargers draft ahead of the Jets! Hehe. I was hoping that he'd last a little longer since there's not as much buzz on him in the Pats forums. Looks like I was a little lucky as well as good.

I think Freeman was a pretty good pickup for the Jets in round 2. If you'd believe the recent hype, some think he will go in round 1 now. I'm just shaking my head at the stupidity as Cassel is likely better than ANY of the QBs coming out in this year's draft.

There that was way too many smileys but nice pick yet again Nic Harris the leader of a championship defense in the mid to end of the fourth, I really wanted this guy for the eagles two picks later. Hunter Hillenmeyer was benched in favor of Nick Roach late in the year and Haris will fit there nicely IMO a steel for you here in the draft nice job.

I had Kevin Barnes targeted during the slowdown with five picks to go before Tampa Bay's selection. I don't know that he'll last as long as he did in this draft; seems to be a pretty good value there.
