New 2009 NFL Mock Draft Game Discussion Thread

I'm happy for you guys to continue but I think I would have to drop out if it is going to get faster. I don't think I can be around for enough of the time to make things move quickly and I don't want to hold it up for everyone else.

I have the same problem. With the Time Zone that I have I will be in trouble. So I don't think that I can continue and pick with much speed...

Gomezcat I will take your two teams over as I still have the same old stinky job Congratz on the new job though but I will take over your teams if you are going to be getting busy. You are still encouraged to jump on this discussion an make fun of my picks

Hi, CanadianPat'sFan. You're very welcome to take them over. I hope you're OK with the picks I made so far... Thanks, btw. I'll watch with interest and am very happy to PM my thoughts...

I hear you but we can all work around that by sending a PM to a couple of others when you are getting ready to log off with your top three picks. That way you don't have to drop out, you still get the player you want, and the draft moves along quickly enough that we can finish it before the NFL draft begins.

The Colts take a chance on the 6'6 freak of nature known as Ramses Barden. It's tough to find a WR who will pose these kinds of matchup problems this late in the draft, but here he is. Barden has tremendous production with 50 touchdowns in his career. And although he didn't face the toughest competition he went to the same school as Chris Gocong, and that player turned out alright in the pros. Barden projects to be a tough matchup in the redzone where he scores lots of TDs on the fade route using his height and athleticism to best advantage. If Barden pans out, Peyton Manning just got another weapon for the arsenal.

But in this way I must write lists of dozen of players!

Going to pick soon for Bears doing some research.

Alright gang, I want to know what you think. I am really happy, I know it would never happen but I would dance in the streets.

I have to go our and coach some ball tonight who is around so I can PM some picks as we have caught fire again with the draft speed??

I might have to sleep on my next pick.

Moving along all sick like...Mogamedogz is on the clock!

I'm not going anywhere tonight you (or anyone else) can PM them to me if you'd like.

I haven't commented much on my picks... But I really love the last two picks I made for Miami.

Mickens and Sebastian Vollmer both have tremendous upside imo. Especially Vollmer.

This kid is raw (much like Barwin on the defensive side of the ball), but he is a giant and has all the physical tools, mental make-up, and work ethic, to be a successful tackle at the next level. He's the type of player I hope fly’s under the radar a bit and NE takes a flyer on in the later rounds.

The only reason this kid is so raw is that he got a late start playing the game (age 14) in Germany (entering college in the states he barely spoke a lick of English). Even still with the limited amount of time he has had, he's developed into a quality player who I think is going to continue to get better.

I am on it just got back from practice I will have it up in five min
