Made the pick, just got home from work [got stuck late and internet was down] thanks everyone!

Nice pick Brettlax3434, Tuna does like his LB and you get a pair of them, Roth is going to the bench earlier than later.

To much value for me to pass up, the D has a good base for a long time to come now.

I would also like to announce that Roth is on the block and available for the right draft pick.

I know we cant trade 2010 draft picks, but Im not sure we can trade players. So we may better wait Bakes.

youre gonna give bakes a heart attack with that kind of talk

yeah lol no player trades!

i got denver's pick via pm. good night my lil droogies!

I guess I am up. As of right now I have a trade proposal in but I will wait to make my pick although I do have one I just might pull the trigger on. He is a guy who has been rising up the draft boards and is in the top 15 in some. Hint just think of last year for us

Oh no not the domestic terrorist? :eek

Sorry guys but there is NO WAY I can allow current players to be traded. One it's impossible to accurately judge what a player would be worth, two the whole purpose of this exercise is supposed to be about getting familiar with the 2009 prospects and three it would make a mockery of this whole process.

Made the pick, just got home from work [got stuck late and internet was down] thanks everyone!

FWIW I woulda voted Hakeem Nicks

I'm amazed at the quality of players available here in the middle of the 2nd round. This exercise is making me appreciate the depth of this draft.

I really wanted Robert Ayers there, but Alphonso Smith will be fine. I project him to be similar to Ellis Hobbs, hopefully a little more athletic and slightly better ball skills

the patriots have the opportunity to acquire a lot of very good players. I dont believe there is a need to move up much and cough up and of our 2nd and 3rd rounders. maybe trade a 2nd this year for a 1st next or 3rd this for a 2nd next, but besides that, i hope we dont trade any of these valuable picks just to move up a few slots

Robert Ayers was Denver's 1st choice as well.

:singing::singing::singing::singing:

I could not believe that he fell to me at #45 and knew he would not last long if I did not pick him up. He fills a need to get more pressure on the QB and will push underperforming and overpaid DE’s Grant and Smith. With Gregg Williams running the show in New Orleans on defense I really think that Ayers and Sean Smith are the type of players to get that job started. Still work to do though.....but not till the fourth round again damn Shockey and Vilma

Why do the Texans draft Lesean Mccoy when they already have his physical clone in Slater? I'd think that a powerback would be more complementary or just get them some OL help and draft one of the many good guard prospects available at this point?

Because they don't want to burn out who they have now and feel they can get something else later
