I wanted Eugene Monroe OT for Virginia because he has played the position for a while now and has been in a pro style system and I feel that he can be put in at LT and fill that position well for the next several years.

ok well with smith and monroe being drafted in the top 2, and curry likely to go three. i would like to trade my pick. if i have 12 hours to make my pick, i think a trade would be manageable here.

oops.. forget it. :bagoverhead:

Well if you can workout a deal with someone else involving 2009 draft picks ONLY, then we can have a vote on whether it's reasonable. But if by 10pm you don't have a majority who find it fair then I can't allow it.

In the meantime I see that ice hasn't posted in 10 days, so I sent him a PM just in case.

ok, ill make the pick before 10pm but im gonna try to make something happen.

I may not post everyday but I do view the boards everyday.

Thanks for the heads up anyway

So.... who's up?

U guys are on your own for most of this week as i am on vaca

im up but i dont want to draft here. doesnt anybody want to trade up.

I would like to announce a trade. With the 4th overall selection, the Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars have made a trade.

The Jaguars Acquire:
#4 Overall
#100 overall

The Seahawks Acquire:
#8 Overall
#40 Overall

Irish Hooligan will surely confirm this shortly

Yep. Done. First legit WR in franchise history.

Easy pick for the Browns @ #5. Jenkins is the best CB in the draft by a lot, and the selection adds an instant impact player to their defense.
