LaMont Jordan would be an awful loss for this game, I was looking forward to seeing him play live

Thanks Chris....looking more like Jordan will be out...as well as Washington...ugh!! Maroney possible..but they MAY have only Morris, Faulk, Eckel, Evans....THAT is all OK for Miami..GLAD we have the bye...Wilfork?? He will play some..and rest..they really need him..any thoughts is they go 4-3??

Yeah, that's poopy, but I think Morris offer similar smash-ability. Heck LoMo might even dance his way through the D for a few yards if he plays.

Nice to NOT see Benjamin "Royal Doulton" Watson not on the list. I hope he stays healthy, I think he's going to be a key component this year.

Anyone got an idea of how often a guys goes from doubtful on Friday to Active on Sunday in New England?

I would expect Aiken to replace Washington on special teams, and Morris to take Jordan's reps. That's fine against Miami.

Wonder when it was that Jordan got hurt. The last three carries of the game went to Evans, Morris and Maroney. Jordan had the previous six carries.

Belichick does a lot of fooling around with the injury list. There is no way to know whether a player who is doubtful on Friday will be able to play on Sunday. In this particular case, it seems right for the team to allow these two players a couple of weeks to recover.

If LoMo can get to the 2nd level he'll have a field day against Miami's DBs.

thanks for the update Chris

why doesn't BB put Cassel on the injury report much like he did throughout Brady's career

I would think it rare...I doubt Jordan would play..that simple..same with Washington..

Amen.

I remember the game in Foxboro against the LOLphins. . . . Evans cleared a hole for Maroney, and it was all over as soon as Maroney was past the LOS.

Really not a bad injury report. Nobody on defense is questionable aside from Alexander. I'd prefer one of the two running backs be probable, but we should be able to get through Miami with Faulk and Morris toting the rock.

A notable absence from the report: Ben Watson!

Great. Now we find out that Lamont is "made of glass".

wilfork, on the injury report, scares teh living crap out of me...

What determines "Probable" when the player fully participates in practice? Is it b/c he's receiving treatment?

It basically means that he is expected to play.

It basically means that he is expected to play.

I'm just wondering if there is something objective that determines that (considering his full participation in practice), like getting worked on by a trainer.
