The AFC rosters page on Wikipedia doesn't list any of Boyce, Groy or Hughes on the Pats' IR either.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_AFC_team_rosters
The NFLPA page https://www.nflpa.com/public-salary-cap-report
shows the Patriots with 75 players
53-man roster
3 PUP
1 IR-DTR
10 man practice squad
8 players on IR (Boyce, Hughes, Tyms, Roberts, Gaffney, Derby, Develin and Gibson)
I guess this issue will be solved when the NFLPA recognizes the injury deals with Hughes and Boyce. As you know, patriots.com agrees with you that neither is on our IR.
So to clarify if a player with a non-guaranteed contract is on IR, he can possibly simply be waived as opposed to say, an injury settlement goodbye kiss?
Full blown tears have a recovery time of 4-6 months. Hes done.I would keepp Solder on the 53 and just have him inactive each week, if there is even the slightest chance that he could play in the POs, because Marcus Cannonfodder is a total disaster at LT.
