So what you are telling me is that EVERY great RB in NFL history had a GREAT OL in front of him...I STRONGLY have to disagree- Ask HOFers like Barry Sanders,Walter Peyton and Earl Campbell what kind of OL they had but found a way to makes plays,I am not comparing HOFers to Maroney becuase its not fair to those who were great but you see what I mean, even future HOFer like our own Fred Taylor didn't always have a great OL in Jax to run with.
Great RBs ,heck even good RBs find a way to make yardage when there is none in front of them,They juke, they bump off defenders, they push off, they bump off, hell they do whatever it takes to keep the chains moving and thats what seperates the men from the boys.
Maroney too many times stops too long and dances around waiting for stuff to happen,This isn't college where he was able to juke his way around, the NFL is faster, bigger and smarter - In this league you have to man up and fight your way to yardage,it won't come as easy as it was in college sure sometimes you have to wait for your line to open holes but you need the vision and guts to take chances at critical times.
You believe Maroney is something special or believe he will be..I think as well as many here that he is a bust - Unless your name is god you are not guaranteed to be right with everything in your mind that you think is right.
