Ted Thompson is one of the best GMs in the league and I have a lot of respect for him and his organization.

But every team misses in the draft sometimes. And there are certain Pats fans who seem to think BB the GM is the worst and nobody blows it like he did in 2006 or 2007. This is proof that yes, it happens to everyone.

Again, this isn't to be critical of Thompson, who I think is one of the best in the league. Rather, it's for all the Madden players who think they'd be unstoppable GMs just because they get to re-set all their ****ty trades in-game that the draft is a bit of a lottery, and everyone can make mistakes.

The problem is the over reaches, you are right, everyone can make mistakes, betting in an injured player, passing a prospect for another, that's ok. When you draft a supposedly 3rd round player in the 3rd round and doesn't work, it's part of the business, the problem occurs when you draft a 7th round player if not UDFA in the 2nd round. Or a player with all the possible red flags health related basically in the first round.
