Not saying that this is the reason but I and I'm sure others on this board have seen widowers who have been married for decades see their spouses die a long, drawn out death (cancer comes to mind) and the very thought of experiencing that kind of pain again is too much to bear- thus the find companionship with younger women.

The other reason is that they are hot and why not?

Personally, I could care less who BK dates or their age.

Would it be more socially acceptable if he was with someone in their late 40s or older? Maybe.

Could he be a little more PC and conventional with his courtship with the woman? Sure.

I laughed at the video. Really it's no big deal and some of you are seriously overreacting. In this day with technology and cameras everywhere and instant news you really would have to never come out of your house if you didnt want to risk being embarrassed. **** happens and it was never meant to be seen by the public. Frankly I don't even think he should have apologized for it cause he did nothing wrong. I find it interesting that people are upset at her age thinking she is a gold digger. 50 year old women can't be golddiggers either? Please. Is the man supposed to be alone forever? If you think one year is fine to move on someone else is going to think 2 years and another 3. Just because you don't like it does not mean that it is wrong for him.

My mother passed away 6 years ago and my Dad was dating other women within 3 months after her death. They had been married 22 years. I had no issues with this because I was away from school and he was home by himself all the time. 9 months after my mom passed he met his now current wife. He still tells me to this day that he misses my mother and that she was the love of his life. People need companions. I can't imagine Kraft has a lot of company at home with his children being grown and having their own families. Wallowing in despair and grief can take a toll on someone health. Who are you all to judge him for wanting to move on with his life? It doesn't mean that he loved Myra any less or wants to disrespect her memory. It means he realizes that he loved her but she is gone and never coming back and he has to keep on living. He can not pass away along with her.

I wondered the same thing, whomever it was did to it to get her some notoriety and to try and make kraft look bad. I doubt they have any recourse but it would still be good for them to know who was messing with them.

I read somewhere (purely anecdotal evidence, but oh well), that a fairly high percentage of people who were married for a long time and then lose their spouse, die themselves within a year or two. I would imagine it has to do with such a sudden life and emotional change causing stress on an already aging mind and body. It may look odd for Kraft to be involved with someone so young so soon after Myra's passing, but if it keeps him sharp and helps ease the transition (aka, keeps him alive longer), I'm not going to judge him for it.

I agree with this, he looked awful this past year. You wonder about his emotional stability dating a chippie like this.
