Been waiting to chime in on this. I like Gray overall and think he is a good complement to Blount. We have a lot of RBs on the team so we won't know anything till training camp. Plus a lot depends on Ridley and Vereen. There definitely isn't room for everybody. I do think Gray has a lot of potential.
Blount and Bolden are locks. Beyond that it's anyone's guess. I don't think we would keep Gray and Ridley though

I don't know, we had to go full Brady against Baltimore and Seattle because the running game could not get a 1st down.

In the SB Blount actually had some runs in the beginning until they figured out him completely.

Brady was fantastic but even the GOAT can get some help from a talented above average RB. I agree on the OL and I've been saying that we should draft another OL with the 1st round pick and keep improving but I think we are playing with jags at RB for a long time.

I understand your point.

That said, you also have to remember that we were pretty much using Ridley as a lead back again until he became injured. The fact that he wasn't fumbling really played to his advantage, and although some of the other RBs still saw carries (obviously--especially Vereen on 3rd down) Ridley may still be "the" guy.

If that's the case, we're fine at RB with Ridley, Blount and maybe even Gray. I'm more concerned with the 3rd down back if Vereen leaves.

It's simple.

Blount is 20 lbs bigger.
Blount punishes and wears down linebackers.
Blount is a proven NFL power runner.
