On the Patriots, Rome RAVES about what a badass Belichick is for taking out all the Spygate BS on the league and ends his rant with "The Patriots go from button up Vanilla to STRAIGHT UP HOODLUM."

I think I'm starting to like this guy!!!

He talked about "hoodie" this way on his show yesterday too. He loved that he's "fueled by hate". He said he went from being the most boring figure in all of sports to the most compelling.

I think Jim Rome is great. That program is true entertainment. If you don't take him too seriously, there's some funny stuff. Check out the Miss Teen South Carolina rant sometime. Pure gold.

Rome doesn't really add much to any discussion. He's a good radio personality, I'll give him that, but he doesn't add a whole lot of insight. Basically, he just repeats the same thing eight different ways then moves on to the next story.

"Belichick is a badass. A badass, that's what Belichick is. Running up the score? That's Belichick. That's a badass. You want to know who's a badass? Bill Belichick. Runs up the score, makes the other teams cry for mama. What's that you say, Joe Gibbs? You want your mama? Well how about some Belichick. What a badass."

Except he's being totally sarcastic IMO, not really saying he thinks that BB is "badass" but kind of mocking what he perceives them to be.

That's more or less the Jim Rome way. Repeat the same thing over and over and add sarcasm. He's entertaining, but not very insightful.

Although he is so ridiculous and over the top it makes me laugh out loud sometimes, like when he referred to "O.J. 'I kill people' Simpson" I choked when I heard that. But yeah, most of the time he's a total headache

"What is up?" I hate Jim Rome, and I will hate him no matter how much "praise" he heaps on the Patriots. He's an ass.

    And primetime, that was priceless.

LOL that was amazing. While I would say that 15 to 20 years ago Jay Z would definitely be the winner right there, he's gone corporate and his new album is weak. BB holds more weight now lol. I liked that photo array though :)

I love Jim Rome, he's just fun to listen to. I love when he gets Vrabel on, the two have a great rapport
