Not pro- anti- BB but I've heard so much of his record without Brady crap that I'm pissed off.
Hey, he might be the guy who used to be the great Bill Belichick. Time is undefeated.
But a coach sucking without players is NOT new and it proves nothing.
Paul Brown
Cleveland and Cincinnati
Cleveland .767 (with Otto Graham then Jim Brown)
Cincy: .497
Bill Walsh
SF with rookie Montana on bench .125 (not counting year two where Montana came in mid-season or the strike year because I don't know which games were Montana)
SF with Monta in 81-29 -1 (15 game season in 1987.) .734
Knoll
With Bradshaw 93-42 -1 .688 (Not counting Bradshaw's rookie or last two years of rarely starting. Also Bradshaw often missed a game due to injury and I gloss over that because I'M NOT PAID!)
Without Bradshaw 66-89 .426 (In fairness I'm not counting the last 2 years with Bradshaw stating like 1 game)
Don Shula Baltimore Colts and Miami
With Unitas .755
pre-Marino 130-49 -2 .718 (Czonka, Morris etc. when RB was still important)
with Marino 127- 80 .614 (Wait, Marino years were his WORST?)
Lombardi
GB with Bart Starr .754
One year at Washington is a partial because he died.
all stats regular season only because I'm wicked lazy. Feel free to add. I already see I skipped Landry.
